After going to the National Museum of Mexican Art, I decided to look around and decide on a place to eat. After searching, I decided to try this place, and I was not disappointed. I ordered six tamales to go, and they give me a free one to try in the restaurant! I would advise anyone local or just in the area to try this place!

You cannot go wrong. Atole is phenomenal especially on cold days. Red chicken, green chicken, red pork, green pork, beans and cheese, pepper and cheese, sweet, such as strawberry, guayaba, coconut, and pineapple tamales! The lady who owns the place is wonderful and kind! Get one and eat on your way to the Mexican Art museum.

A good place to pick up tamales or atole. They have different flavors of atole, sweet potatoes, and guayaba. Coco and more. The tamales are also docent types, chicken, pork, cheese, beans, and sweet. Good food and service. There is paid parking on the street. I'll come back again.

So glad I found this little place. The tamales were so delicious! They were not skinny at all they had chicken and pork both in red and green sauce. The sweet tamales have real fruit pieces in them. The strawberries tamales don't have raisins in them (which is a plus). The atole omg they have alot of flavors and they are all so delicious. The fact that they have flavors with almond milk is so nice and accommodating. Also the atole isn't thick its more runny (which again also a plus for me). Overall great experience the lady working there was so sweet and so friendly. Definitely put my order in for Christmas tamales. Oh side note the frijoles tamales...

I had the chance to taste these tamales through a co-worker of mine recently. I must say these tamales are very delicious tamales. I would like to say this much...it's not easy getting a tamale right. You need a savory filling, even amount of meats inside😋 and last but not least a fluffy and flavorful maza! My mother's tamales where the best always! Just a like everybody's else's mom to them🙂 I have always remembered one thing from my mother's tamale's.....the maza was always sooooo fluffy 😇 I have of course ate some good tamales before, but these made me think of my mom💕 so....thank u for that and keep up...

They didn't have a lot of options when i got there and the ones i did get were lacking a bit in flavor. The fillings were okay. The masa was a bit too dry as well. The tamal oaxaceño was tasty, but it was somehow wet and dry and had absorbed too much of the banana leaf flavor in the masa. The person serving the tamales was helpful, but overall I don't think I'd go out of my way to buy tamales from here since they're a bit pricey for the lack of flavor. They're good to fulfill a quick craving. Add sour cream and chile to help add flavor...
