Where do I start? Viktoria is much more than a makeup artist. She’s a lifeline. She’s an energy source. She is an overall bright light to have on one of the biggest days of your life! From the start, Viktoria is straight forward and answers any questions you have the best of her ability. I did my trial with her the day of my bridal shower (about 6 weeks prior to my wedding) and I wish I had did the trial earlier than that because not only was it a trial, but she was able to tell me about my skin, educate me on the types of products I should be using— I mean, just a full source of information and education. Book your trials as early as you possibly can! And you can genuinely tell she LOVES and enjoys her career. It’s certainly a passion.

Leading up to the wedding, she checked in on me regularly. The week of my wedding, I was stressed out (like many brides) and like an angel, she checked in on me at the right time— not only was I able to vent to her, I had a major break out on the side of my face. She drove out to downtown Chicago from the suburbs in rush hour traffic to personally drop off a couple products that literally SAVED MY SKIN! All my girls were surprised at how quickly they tamed my break out.

When I think back to the day of the wedding, my heart is bursting with sweet memories of all my vendors but Viktoria just stands out. She’s a presence in the room. When you’re getting your makeup done by her, it’s one on one time. I constantly heard all my friends laughing and bonding with her as they went to get their makeup done. There were big hugs and smiles all around. They felt comfortable around her immediately. All of them, and I’m not kidding, all of them came up to me and told me all about their time chatting and how I was right, I knew she was the right choice to start our day off. This doesn’t even begin to touch on how Viktoria was able to ride through some of the emotional waves with me while she was working on my makeup. She is truly gifted.

Everything I’ve said so far has to do with my experience with her but I haven’t even said a WORD about her TALENT! She’s an artist, for sure. Best in class, all around. She is quick to understand your vision and is meticulous while creating it. I didn’t even mention how picky I was while choosing a makeup artist. I’m a makeup lover so finding the right person to do my wedding makeup was something I searched for online for months. Genuinely, months. I came across Viktoria’s instagram and immediately knew she was who I wanted based on two things— skill, and her personality through her social media. I told my friends about her before I even reached out or booked her. She nailed every part of what I was looking for— a lit from within glow, eyes that went POW 💥 and lips that made my hubby want to kiss them every second of the night! Some of my bridesmaids were nervous about faux lashes and trust me, you will not feel them. Mine stayed on over night even after passing out on the bed— my makeup was flawless the next morning 😂

Before I had to go get my dress on, Viktoria even took a moment to look at my overall duo of hair and makeup and pointed out a part of my hair that wasn’t quite right— we made sure my hair stylist fixed it.

Choosing her won’t feel like you’re booking a makeup artist, it will feel like you’re choosing someone to be a part of your wedding day team. I cannot recommend Viktoria enough. I originally found her through a makeup website and then decided to go with her for my engagement photo makeup based off her Instagram page. I was obsessed ever since and now I find excuses to use her for anything! (Bridal shower and rehearsal dinner pictures below). She’s really good at working with you and truly wants to make you feel happy and beautiful so, the more you can communicate to her about the look you’re going for, the better! However, by the time it came to my rehearsal dinner makeup, I just gave her full range to do whatever she wanted bc she knew my vibe and the outfit I was wearing, and still knocked it out of the park.

She’s professional and has an unparalleled understanding of makeup AND skincare (she worked at a dermatology office prior to doing all of this so she has great foundational knowledge of making you glow **). Beyond that, she has a big heart, and is passionate about what she does and you can see that.

She’s also excellent at working with a variety of ages. She did my moms makeup for my rehearsal dinner too, and I wish I had before and after pictures to post. My mom looked SO stunning, and I know she couldn’t stop trying to steal glances of herself. I know a lot of parents that HATE how they look for wedding related makeup (which is not what a bride what’s on their wedding day), so I highly recommend Viktoria here and have a trial too so wedding day goes super smoothly.

Lastly, I think her business model is great- she will help you figure out your own makeup, help with skincare, and literally anything else you need. If you by chance don’t like your makeup, tell her and she will adjust (not that that has ever happened with me). She really genuinely wants to make you feel happy and beautiful.

Viktoria is a beautiful extremely talented and hardworking soul! I appreciate her fiery, positive and uplifting personality ❤️ and don’t get me started on her work ethic!!!

We have clicked since the first tryout. My wedding consisted of 3 days and 4 looks, so we did several tryouts prior. Throughout each and every one I had most fun with Vika, talking about all kinds of stuff. I love how Vika carefully listened to my visions and wishes to ensure that she can flawlessly execute it each and every time. She really knows her craft and does an amazing job worth of a red carpet event (seriously, I won’t be surprised to see Beautoria become a next A list celebrity MUA).

I also want to point out how supportive Viktoria has been through my wedding experience. She made sure I felt uplifted, comfortable and confident during every day, showering me with compliments and also ensuring I looked my best. In several instances Vika helped me feel better, and was more protective of me than my own wedding planner.
