I can’t say enough good things about Tarnish. I shop here all the time and always find incredible one-of-a-kind jewelry, clothing, and accessories. This is honestly the only place in the Midwest I know of where you can find quality women’s motorcycle gear. They offer riding gear exclusively for female riders—think jackets, gloves, helmets, boots, and more. I especially love the vintage jewelry, particularly the turquoise pieces, which are becoming rarer and rarer. Plus, they showcase fantastic local and custom artisans like Bird Trouble, Ahki Design, and Acid Queen Jewelry, whose unique designs make my collection stand out. Whenever I wear something from Tarnish, I always get compliments. The staff is super friendly and always willing to help, making the shopping experience even better. Bad service! Tried to return an item that was only tried on and was met with sassy attitude. Expensive item of clothing that was tried on once and had receipt and tags in the bag (that weren’t ripped off). Desk lady would not even consider it was the product but insisted I wore the item even though I only tried it on. Reply: I tried it on and sat with it on for about an hour doing nothing that could have damaged it. The fabric could’ve been torn before I even purchased. If the fabric is so easily torn maybe it is the product. It was in the bag for a few days since I had tried it on so maybe it had a wrinkle! Was not about the money or being told no, but being met with such a rude attitude was shocking. (Also just saying maybe you should tell people about the return policy because I don’t think every customer will stop to read signs...

I recently visited Tarnish intending to purchase helmets for myself and my husband. Upon entering, we were greeted by a woman whose demeanor was both unpleasant and unwelcoming. Her abruptness and lack of courtesy made us feel uncomfortable from the start. When we inquired about the availability of a different color, her behavior escalated dramatically. She became visibly agitated, displaying unprofessional conduct that left us feeling disrespected and unwelcome. Despite being ready to purchase the available helmet, her outburst deterred us from completing the transaction. Ultimately, we decided to leave the store and order the same helmet online, solely to avoid further interaction with such discourteous staff. This experience was profoundly disappointing, and I cannot recommend this store based on the service...
