I wanna share my thoughts with what happened that disappointed me @hummus grill
I was new to the neighborhood so was searching around for good food for lunch and google maps shows me a old 6 to 7 year old kabab place i was exited to go and try the food here but later it became one of my worst experience with food
Multiple businesses in one location no problem with its concept bur the original place what i came for have changed to hummus grill and no have updated it and the owner of new business also didn’t edit it
Later as i was hungry went in there to check out what is there so can fill my stomach but later I got know that same menu from last owner its just business owners change the name of the store so I ordered house grill there specifically to try all the flavors
I remember what i saw on the POS System prices were around for mix house grill platter $23 and a can of soda for $1.80 and I paid $26 on counter
why i am explaining the price is that generally i will get a receipt and people ask about change or something like that but in my case i haven’t got any and I waited for a minute
Later to be sure the food to be served good not raw or uncooked i asked the counter lady 2 time confirming for a well done meat please and she said yes
Overall I don’t know what happened in kitchen but i was served with only beef kebab chicken kebab and beef boti no lamb was there as mentioned in the house grill and i have to ask about garlic sauce as side
I was very hungry and avoided all the previously done mistakes and just wanted to have good food but only chicken and half of the beef was cooked salad was fresh but the garlic sauce was like milk without any flavor meat uncooked and i have to trow all the food in the bin
Note to management/owner i know that running a business is a very difficult job but you have to at-least hire sensible staff or else do random/ surprise visits to them they are making the place ruined
At last i will never come back to place like this to have a meal again and and let my friends and family know that how this place works
But give benefit of doubt lets say if they(hummus grill) improve their standards i will change my review

I recently satisfied a lingering food craving by ordering from Hummus Grill, inspired by my friend's rave review of their Gyro Salad. Opting for the lazy approach, I decided on a pickup order through DoorDash, given the proximity of the restaurant to my location - just a quick 3-minute car ride away.
For my order, I selected the Gyro Sandwich and the Chicken Shawarma Wrap. The Gyro Sandwich was flavorful, but unfortunately, its construction made it a bit of a messy affair. Unlike other Gyro Sandwiches I've enjoyed in the past, this one seemed to fall apart easily, with food and sauce ending up everywhere.
On the other hand, the Chicken Shawarma Wrap had great potential. I had requested a substitution of Tahini sauce with Garlic sauce, but unfortunately, my request was overlooked. As someone who isn't a fan of Tahini, this was a bit disappointing, and I couldn't enjoy the wrap as I had hoped. Despite the sauce hiccup, the actual wrap itself was impressive, with tasty ingredients; however, it was unexpectedly cold, and the wrap felt a bit dry.
Although my experience had its drawbacks, I'm not ready to write off Hummus Grill completely. I recall my friend's positive experience with the Gyro Salad, and I'm willing to give it another shot. It's clear there's potential for great flavors and quality, so I'm hopeful that my next visit will be a more satisfying one.
Overall, Hummus Grill offers a mix of flavors that could be a hit or miss depending on your preferences. I'm intrigued enough to return and explore more of their menu, with the hope that my next experience will be closer to the positive one my friend had with...
Read moreOrdered the Chicken Kebab plate, the Mixed Combo plate, and a Lentil Soup. Each plate comes with a small cup of humus, 1 falafel, a side salad, and pita. I not only love this place because it’s close to my house, but because the ingredients they use are usually super fresh and of high quality.
Ill start off with the Lentil soup. Holy smokes. Thick, hot, grainey, and has a slight undertone of almost a worcestershire flavor. so delicious, i was very pleased.
Falafel- very rich and flavorful Pita - sooooo tasty and fresh. I am a bread lover and this pita gets my approval. Hot sauce is also top notch. Not too spicy but packed with flavor.
Chicken kebab - thick pieces of chicken breast roasted over an open flame, the marinade is delicious and not too spicy, and it comes with roasted veggies - all served over a bed of yellow rice. Pretty straightforward dish and the chef nailed it.
The mixed plate - 3 different meats included: Chicken kebab, kefta kebab, and steak kebab. It comes with more food than any of the other plates on the menu (ive had them all). Roasted veggies are also included with this plate, also served over a bed of yellow rice. The steak kebab is nice big pieces of beef, wouldnt say theyre exactly juicy, but the beef is high quality and the flavor is as expected for another straightforward menu item. I was a bit hungup on the kefta kebab. The ground meat they used was not seasoned enough in my opinion. It was slightly bland but i mean very slightly. No regrets ordering, but I have had better kefta elsewhere.
Overall I highly recommend this place. Quick easy and so delish. One...
