I called The Villalobos Law Firm on 03-08-2025 about a trust fund. Even though they don't typically handle the creation of a trust fund, my mother told me, Mr. Raul Villalobos personally helped set up documents regarding a trust for my parents back in the '80s. I had sent multiple messages asking for a response by email or text for privacy reasons. After they ignored that request, and called anyway. I finally decide to call back the first chance I got. Explaining my situation to the receptionist, just to be rudely dismissed and denied anything involving that kinda service. When I explained my parents knew Villalobos personally, the receptionist flatly said, "no he didn't," as if they were there when it happened. The receptionist then told me to go through probate, falsely claiming that "all trust funds/Inheritance must go through probate, no matter what". That’s a lie. I later learned that alot of people make trust funds to avoid probate. They told me they didn't even handle trust or inheritance in any-way. That's a lie! This firm practices family law attorney and asset protection, which includes drafting legal documents for trusts/inheritance, just like my mom mentioned. This means the receptionist gave me false legal advice on purpose and refused to let me talk to a lawyer, to confirm what she said was true, and they refused to pass on the message to Mr. Villalobos himself. Because of this, I have reasons to believe either the receptionist or someone working at the firm knows what I'm talking about and is helping to cover it up. I got a anonymous tip that "my brother, George, who's on the run had taken control over it (to steal money) during a certain time when he wasn't considered a felon, (Which I was led to believe he was cleared of all charges.)and the law firm had ties to it." If what my mother said, was true, then Mr. Villalobos did help with documents since the firm practice family law attorney and assets protection. Even if his old partner (Mr. Rodriguez) helped, I know when a lawyer passes or retires, their on-going cases (like inheritance/trust fund) go to their partners or the next lawyer on the list. My mother even called the law firm in front of me, a year or two before she passed away to prove to me it was all true, and even tho, she made it sound like, she haven't spoken to Mr. Villalobos in decades, Mr. Raul Villalobos yelled at my mom over the phone in Spanish and hung up on her, making me believe my mom had more contact with him then what she wanted me to believe. I'm NOT blaming Mr. Raul Villalobos personally, but all this false information and blocking me from talking to a lawyer, makes me believe, they are hiding something. How would a anonymous person know my phone number? My name? My parents name? My trust fund? And my brother being on the run and the law firm my parents went to? If he's on the run then of course, he would need money. I would like a lawyer or maybe, Mr. Raul Villalobos himself to call me to straighten this out and, cause if Mr. Villalobos did draw up some documents for the trust, then he likely knows it's location, and if someone from the firm is helping my brother, George steal my inheritance/trust fund, know that you are helping a known felon avoid being captured.
And to the receptionist: YOU SUCK! Learn...
Read moreUnprofessional place everytime I tried to call. None of the lawyers where at the office ide have to wait till 5pm just to speak to a lawyer who wasn't even at the court so I felt like they didn't understand me. They said they would call me back. And nope not a response back. I was the one calling to get answers for stuff I didn't understand. The last conversation I had with a lawyer and I qoute told me "I don't have time or get paid to be on the phone answering questions you don't understand" I understand he was busy but that is clearly not my fault. He gave attitude because he was in a dispute with another one of his clients. I had already paid for the retainer fee for two cases. I asked what if I no longer want your services he said "we could terminate the case" I asked what would happen with the money I already spent he clearly said "it's gone". I was so frustrated I said nothing and hung up the phone. I feel so taken advantage of considering I am young he knew my story of how I've been struggling with money have recently healed from having a liver transplant and I'm about to have a baby. I understand if there are court fees I have to pay but I know they didnt do enough work to keep both my...
Read moreI would not recommend Villalobos-- AT ALL. My brother hired him as his lawyer and working with this lawyer and the receptionists/secretaries was not easy. This lawyer won’t do the bare minimum. You better hope you don’t miss the office calling you because they’ll claim they called you many times—even though they never leave a voicemail or call your secondary number. (I was the secondary number and never received a call or a voicemail). This lawyer only cares about money and he acts like you owe him something or like he’s doing you a favor. A lawyer needs to be on time but he takes his time and when he shows up late he doesn’t apologize for it. When you do call him out for that he blatantly blames the client or brushes you off. Doesn’t give a timely notice when it comes to payments. Definitely in it for the easy money—seems to prolong the case. He takes advantage of...
