Slumberland Furniture — Local services in West Fargo

Good sofa selection, with many high priced items going on sale regularly. Polite staff. Store was spotless, very clean, excellent COVID response.

LONG wait time: Many months, past when we were told to expect it, from when we ordered sofa. The wait being their manufacturers fault, due to COVID issues, NOT their Fargo delivery team (for anyone confused as to who to be annoyed at) & NOT the Fargo in-store staff's fault. I had people in my life telling me to not tip the delivery team (& to leave a terrible 1-star review) cause of how late our couch was & I had to explain to them that the Fargo delivery team for Slumberland is completely separate from the manufacturer's late issues, so I'm putting this in my review to avoid other people making that mistake. PLEASE TIP YOUR DELIVERY PEOPLE! Seriously, they deserve it. They deliver heavy furniture all day and often don't get thanked. It doesn't have to be a huge tip to express your thanks, but a little something goes a long way, especially during these difficult times.

Slumberland is the only store I will ever go to for my furniture shopping. Debbie is our salesperson, and recently, she helped us pick out our bedroom furniture. She’s not pushy at all, fun to work with and assisted us with finding the perfect bedstead and matching dresser and nightstands. I foresee that we’ll be needing a new mattress in the near future, and we’ll trust no one but Debbie to help us with that. She’s been in the business a long time and is very knowledgeable. In the past, I’ve visited other stores, and none of them even begin to compare to Slumberland, especially when it comes to mattresses. They do a majority of the mattress market, are extremely honest, and have the highest quality brands, such as Tempur-Pedic and Stearns and Foster. So if you need furniture or a new mattress, I highly recommend you stop in at the West Fargo Slumberland and ask for Debbie! No need to go...

First & foremost, I appreciated Ryan's low-key sales approach!! He greeted me promptly, introduced himself, offered assistance then allowed me to look and roam the store at my own pace --without following me around. He made sure that I knew he was available should I have questions, but he did not chaperone me on my shopping tour. Wrote up my purchase efficiently and explained delivery options. GREATLY appreciated. Kudos Ryan!

The showroom was nicely organized and well lit. It was a bit crowded in places and a bit difficult to move around the furniture or get a good look at some pieces. In general the inventory was a bit repetitive, but I was able to find several pieces of interest. The experience at Slumberland was better overall than that of the competing furniture store...
