Gold & Diamond Buyers Ben Dannie - Appt Only — Local services in West Hollywood

Purchased a Rolex from Michael at Ben Dannie after meeting him on Poshmark. He didn’t have any papers or proof of authenticity and I was told I could return the watch if I found out it wasn’t authentic. I wore the watch sporadically, maybe 10 times, and then decided to sell it because I needed to pay for my grad school. I listed the item on eBay, Poshmark, Craigslist, let it go, offer up, etc and received several messages from other jewelers and experienced Rolex sellers stating it wasn’t authentic. I had another dealer come to my house to look at it and was told many of the parts are after market, the face color is not an authentic Rolex color, needs about $700 in repairs if it is an actual Rolex, etc. I contacted Ben Dannie to make them aware and Michael told me they could try to sell it for me, but there is not time guarantee. Robert from the company called and told me they could offer me a cash price for it but it would not be what I bought it for, even though it’s in the same condition as when I purchased it and I was clearly deceived about its value to begin with. I don’t know if the watch is ultimately authentic, but either way this has been a terrible customer service experience. My texts were not answered until I threatened to report the incident and then Robert (who wasn’t even the person I was attempting to talk to) was completely unsympathetic and...

I found them online and saw they had some cool stuff on their Instagram. My dad wanted to get a ring made for my mom, and he asked me to help him out. I was at their office one time to set everything up and then did the rest through email and on the phone until I picked up the ring.

I mainly worked with David and Michael on the design of the ring, sending them pictures of some stuff I saw, and they picked out the stone for me.

In the first meeting they really showed me how even diamonds and gemstones with the same papers can look different and how everything isn’t on the cert.
