I can’t even think about how humiliating my experience was at this here west long branch location. On Sunday 9/29-2024 I entered the store to return football pants that was previously purchased but too small. As me and my spouse was there we saw a few things we’d like to get for vacation. As I was in the fitting room a female police officer knocked on the door and told me to put my clothes on and come out because they were and told we were shoplifting a employee of yours who’s name is “Tammie” told the manager “Kathie” she recognized us from a previous shop lifting. We were asked to leave and told we were trespassing. All of this happened just for them to find that we are frequently shoppers who also has an account. That’s is very humiliating, embarrassing and emotionally disturbing. And all the manager has to say for herself is she asked the employee several times was she sure and it was a lie we were treated like criminals when all we were trying to do was make a purchase. You will hear from my attorney!!! This will not be swept under the rug and kept quiet.
My anxiety was sooo high when I left that I had to goto urgent care for an anxiety attack.
Tammie I hope you don’t falsely accuse anyone else of such a crime and be absolutely...
Read moreThe manager Glenn tried to make up his own rules regarding a jordan release, in order to attempt to backdoor unclaimed pairs. Told me at 1130 when reservations ended that all 6 unclaimed pairs were being “held for people who reserved them. They called and they’ll be late” and that I “could have a size 7.5 or nothing” when I tried to explain to him that’s not how it works, he snapped at me and said “the shoe is 1 per person, I’m doing you a favor by breaking the rules…” so he knew full well what he was doing was wrong I then went back at 430 (5 hours after pickups ended) and the shoes should’ve been available to the public, and the “pairs that were being held” were still showing in stock on the inventory scanner. When I confronted Glenn about this he again lied to my face insisting that the pairs were sold and not in the store. After calling the store and speaking to the store manager it was determined Glenn was lying about the shoes being sold and that they were indeed sitting in the stockroom. This man is a manager and doesn’t know basic procedures for a product release, and then takes an attitude with customers because he doesn’t know the rules for the store he works at. I won’t be shopping at this location for the time being...
Read moreWent in there to get merchandise for my daughter for summer camp. It was sports bras and bug repellent. We picked out the sports bras that had a sign on sale 2/$15. We got rushed out by an associate so we went in line and then the cashier told us the total was $56 and change. When I told him there was a sign back there it was 2/$15 he said I would have to go back there and get someone. He had the capacity to call someone up so why would I need to go and get someone??? With being rushed out, having to go find someone for assistance and now the price mismanagement I just left there without the sports bras and just purchased the big repellent so as I didn’t feel like I wasted my time going there. Customer service standards need to be raised. I understand it’s a big chain store so a one off customer isn’t really going to mean anything. What ever anyone decides on doing I hope this raises an awareness to future customers to be prepared for the...
