Hobby Lobby — Local services in West Manchester Township

It seems that every time I go in, they are out of stock on something I'm looking for- either that or they don't carry it at all. That's fine- I don't expect them to carry every last arts and crafts item or medium- or to have the ability to read my mind. Yesterday I was in- and several brands and colors of clay were sold out- no problem. I can get it on Amazon for cheaper anyway- but the fact of the matter is- if stores want sales that they're claiming that Amazon is stealing- maybe they could keep stock of the items that Amazon can sell for less and get to you in two days. When it comes down to it, the vast majority of consumers...are impatient. So, if you've driven to a store- and can get the items you want, and are faced with waiting two days, or paying a little more...9 times out of ten- someone isn't going to want to leave empty handed. Also...I noticed that in the clay aisle- some items were lacking price tags on the shelves. Not sure why that was. I found it to be odd. Anyway- the cashiers at this location are some of the most professional and friendly I've ever seen anywhere. Like they've been through perfect cashier bootcamp. Lol. Overall, I was able to find one of the two things I had gone in for, so not all was lost. Also note- that particular item is currently unavailable even from Amazon until the 14th, so there could be some sort of issue in production. Anyway-...

I was very disappointed and actually shocked with my experience at the store yesterday. The store is very clean, organized and the cashier was very sweet, however there was a woman there “cleaning” around the registers with a leaf blower. The cashier was ringing up my items the woman came over and was blowing debris out around the register that was directly beside where I was being rung out. It was hard to hear the cashier and the woman finished the cashier said to her “you got stuff all over my shoes” to which her response was “well there’s probably gonna be more because I’m not finished” what??! First off it was very rude to the cashier and to ME a customer the thing that bothered me most is COVID being an air born very dangerous out break and you are cleaning with a leaf blower!!!! I am a type 1 diabetic so I have to take this pandemic very serious. With that being said I will be shopping else where for my craft supplies, which is sad since I shop this location at least twice a week. I hope management takes this seriously and handles this rude, ignorant woman...

Hands down the best thing about hobby lobby is their great sales! They put main items on sale almost every other week. For instance, artificial flowers and foliage will be on sale alternating weeks as are the cabinet pulls and wall hangings.

The prices are reasonable and are a great deal when you catch your desired items on sale. I've created beautiful foliage house planters, as well as vases of flowers. The cabinet pull selection is vast and priced extremely well during the sales. So in planning your DIY projects you can be assured of the best prices at hobby lobby as well as a vast selection to choose from. I love how clean and bright the store is. The employees are helpful even though they congregate and talk too much around the registers at times, while you may be looking for someone to help answer a question.
