Re: sale 22909951
I came in for a replacement battery for my S10+. The battery was not in stock so the tech ordered one. He said about 2 days as one was in Orlando I believe. I came back in about 4 days and the battery was not in yet but I was assured it was on its way. Gave it a few more days and dropped in to see if it had arrived. The tech advised me he could install it in about 45 minutes as my back glass was already lifted due to my battery swelling. My phone was locked and he required my pass code...to replace the battery??? Well in about an hour and a half he came back to the counter with my phone with the new battery installed. I was happy to see my phone with the back glass reattached but then I noticed a 2 inch long fresh gouge in my front screen. I questioned the tech about the gouge and he stated my phone had the gouge when I handed the phone to him for repair. He edited the Condition notes to reflect the new gouge, being presented as a cracked screen. In a previous visit he commented on the outstanding condition of my phone as there was not a single scratch or ding on my 4 year old phone. He denies them defacing my phone despite the rough edges of the fresh gouge. He said he would replace my factory installed screen protector with a new one. Additionally, my phone was in the debug mode so someone was snooping my phone. Once again he did not have the exact material in stock. I continued to "drop" in as they never answer the phone and voice mail also is inoperative. After 3 total drive bys and final straw was the saver stock finally at the store but the tech on site could not cut it out as the tech with the software, on his phone was not present. I gave up and have been waiting to craft this negative review of this Palm Bay location. Horrible experience and now that I have put it in words I plan on crafting a Google review with the same text. The subject of this remarks section is "What could we have done better"? Provide leadership and apply standards for this...
Read morePreviously I filed a review with the same rating and I'm giving it again because once again, and for the final time, Tyrone at uBreakiFix at Hammocks Landing has messed up my perfectly fine day. I had brought in my Samsung Galaxy J7 and iPhone 7 for screen replacements. The only issues I had with EITHER phone was that the screens were shattered on both. I was told by Tyrone that I had to wait for the screen to be ordered and sent to the store, but the iPhone would be able to fixed right away and picked up the next day. However, when we came to pick up the iPhone, I had asked the other clerk if my part was in yet. As it turns out, Tyrone never bothered to order my part and simply canceled my ticket. I went ahead and bought a new phone and traded my old one in for what little I could get. But the plot thickens. About 2 days in, my girlfriends iPhone which we had just brought in, was constantly muting her on calls, or muting the other caller. The phone was still within the warranty date so we elected to bring it back and get it looked over. Imagine my shock when I receive a voicemail from our family favorite, Tyrone, to tell me that the "proximity sensor is broken and we replaced it, that'll be $89.99," after we brought it in WITH the warranty slip. Called the shop to have Tyrone accuse me of breaking the device and claiming otherwise to get a free repair, "Everyone says that," in regards to me stating that we only brought it in to get the screens replaced and that the phone was fully functional when it was left. So after I hung up, I dialed the customer support line and got in touch with Essence who was a superb asset in getting my girlfriends phone back to her without spending an unnecessary 89.99 for something we didn't even do. So thank you for rectifying the issue, I must however sadly state that this will be our last dealing with this business, as we are fully aware that there are many dealing with these problems, yet the...
Read moreSo I was a customer and will never no longer be a customer here for the simple fact that I have took in my PlayStation5 to get the HDMI on it Fixed when I received it, the HDMI was working, but my PlayStation was acting up. I took it back to find out that while they were trying to fix my HDMI. They broke Something on the motherboard they told me it was gonna take up to 3 to 4 weeks to get it back. I told him that was ridiculous. Then they told me they were extradited and I'll take up to 3 to 4 days. I accept that I understand Mistakes happen. I waited four days contacted them. They told me my PlayStation will be done at 5 PM. I called one more time before I went up there. They told me it was ready to be picked up. Come to find out my PlayStation wasn't even there yet they got my PlayStation mixed up with someone else's. Something that was supposed to take 2 to 3 days in the beginning has been 2 1/2 weeks already I am also one other monthly subscribers I feel that this is ridiculous that they make me drive across town. Come to find out my PlayStation wasn't there tomorrow will be Sunday. I don't believe I will get it tomorrow Monday I go back to work now I have to figure out time to pack up my kids up and go across town to pick this up again I would like a refund completely and I'm canceling my subscription, how can I subscribe to some company that already has messed up so much I take it to get fixed and it comes back more damaged I hope they resolve this with a positive alternative If they fix my PlayStation and And gave it back to me, and I Took it and didn't have the money to pay for it. I will be considered a thief. But it's OK for them to take my money and damage my device give me the runaround and it's OK....???? I hope the manager contacts me with the positive solution please...
