Berks County District Justice — Local services in West Reading

I’ve never been here in person but there’s a lady that I have spoken too three separate times and I don’t know her name, she never says it when she answers but I recognize her voice when I spoke to her after the first time and she is SO FREAKIN RUDE! I called originally looking for someone to perform my wedding and she was just nasty and I called back because I forgot to ask how many guests can I bring and she was just so rude and I did not like the attitude and because of her, I decided to have my wedding at another place because I figured if she is rude maybe the other staff is rude too and I’m not gonna risk letting someone ruin our special day because of someone’s attitude. I don’t want that energy, I don’t want that memory. I called to cancel the wedding I was going to have there and she was just nasty for no reason. I wish I knew her name but she knows what she’s doing not stating it when she picks up the phone. Just have the decency to be polite to people, fake it until you make it is you have to. Jeez. Anyways, I’m glad I called another place, their staff was so nice...

The front desk ladies are so rude. They’re on some kind of power trip because they work for a judge. I asked a simple question about rescheduling and one of them actually yelled at me. When I told her that’s not necessary, she back-peddled of course but still with a bad attitude. It’s funny cause as I walked out, another person said, “they’re always so rude”. They need to treat people like human beings that are innocent until proven otherwise. It’s disgusting. At least the judge is respectful in that way. But he obviously allows their terrible behavior because I’m not the first person...

I’m not sure why the lady that answer the phone was so ignorant. Please don’t forget that you are to the service of the community and you job needs to have good customer service skills. Some one needs to perform a review in this lady and show her to be more kind and helpful. It only take engagement to help some one. Too bad I didn’t get her name.
