i'M NOT A HAPPY CUSTOMER
My husband had surgery (knee replacement) in November 2023. When I went to pick up the prescriptions that had been sent electronically by the surgical center, they had 2 of the prescriptions but the 3rd prescription, which was his pain medication, was not there. This was around 6pm that evening. That's when he was discharged from the surgical center. I was told by the tech that it had not been prescribed with the other medications. I had his discharge instructions in my had & it had most definitely been prescribed. I called the surgical center & the nurse told me those orders had been sent to that pharmacy. When the nurse investigated, she was able to find out from the pharmacy that the "system" had put it on my dog's account. (I was getting seizure medication for my dog here so I have an account for my dog) The nurse at the surgical center was able to contact the provider & get a new script sent. This could have been really bad that late in the day! My husband may have had to go without pain meds immediately post op. NOT Acceptable!!
Today I tried to refill my thyroid medication, which I have filled twice at this location, & was told by the automated system that my prescription could not be found. That was strange because I had already filled it twice there & was looking at the prescription label on the bottle & it was clearly from this pharmacy. When I called & spoke with the tech I was told that my prescription was at the Redwood Road pharmacy. I was told that I must have requested the prescription be transferred to that pharmacy or the prescriber must have sent it to that pharmacy. Neither of those things have happened.

Read moreLook i never write a review but today this place was so awful i felt that its a must to warn people to stay away... first phone service is awful if they even do answer they refused to put my insurance info in... after telling. That after looking at my account it showed my insurance had LAPSED... which was a huge shock to me so with me having my insurance info right in front of me i asked if we could confirm they had my insurance information correct i was told i would have to come in that they wont take insurance info over the phone all while telling me my prescriptions were ready... so i go in with my insurance info and speak to the drop off counter finding out they didnt even have any insurance info for me in there system period... then they told me that they couldn't get ahold of my insurance till 2 days later because it was sunday and they were closed.. well i called same number the pharmacy told me they called and come to find out they were lying again my insurance company wasnt closed they just didnt want to do there job and call because the hold took more than a couple of minutes... so needing this perscription being led on for hours finally when i just offer to pay cash which i dont have i fractued my femur, dislocated my hip fractured ribs, sever head trauma ect. Then come to find out they dont have any in stock... (what?) at this point im irratated and ask why did you tell me my prescription is ready for pick up have me drive in string me along then all of a sudden now you dont have them in stock... probably one of the worst places to fill prescriptions i will...
Read moreUpdate 05/14/2022: The original review was posted some time ago, after a long period of frustration. There has been massive improvement with this pharmacy over the past several months. I am not sure if the pharmacy has a new manager, but there are a lot of new faces since the start of the year.
The newer staff are much friendlier and efficient. Waits have gone down drastically and medications are in stock. So, while my original review was honest, please know that there have been massive changes for the better since the start of 2022.
As if now, I would give this pharmacy 4 to 4.5 out of 5 stars.

Incredibly rude, unfriendly and the store needs to clean house. I hate to ever say people need to lose their jobs, especially these days. However, Smith's needs to clean house with this pharmacy location, and try harder.
If you don't want to work at a pharmacy, then don't. If you don't want to pretend to have a personality and be reasonably polite to customers; see ya. If you want to be rude, here is your pink slip and directions to the door.
I have gone to this pharmacy for going on 2 years. They have had o e decent staff member, and I felt bad for her. I sure wouldn't want to work with her peers.
There are too many people who want decent jobs to waste them on most of this pharmacy staff. Rarely ever get upset, this is the first time I have posted a review like this... but this type of rude service should get resolved, not =earned...
