When we go to a fast food place, or want fast food in general, we generally just want something to be easy. And let's face it, nobody is buying fast food because they want a gourmet meal. They're eating fast food because it's convenient. In my case, my wife happened to be craving a Burger but we wanted something quick and close. So because of where we live, the closest Burger joint to us is this particular Burger King.
Now let me say I like Burger King's burgers, but they are something that I rarely eat, and if I'm craving a Burger I usually go to Apollo or Crown for something more substantial. This particular evening was all about convenience. In an effort to keep things simple, I went to Burger King's website and attempted to order some food for delivery. Apparently the website or the store or whatever was having issues. I tried unsuccessfully for half an hour to place our order. When I tried to call this particular location I would hear the line ring only to end up disconnected. 6 times I called this place and only one time did I get any kind of answering service. Ultimately I decided screw it I'll just go over there.
When I was on the road I decided "alright let me give them one more call" and lo and behold somebody actually answered this time . However it turns out that they will not take any orders over the phone. They instead referred me to Uber eats or doordash to place my order. When I finally got to the restaurant I had to place my order twice because they are too Stubborn to replace that stupid faulty drive-through speaker.
I made sure I was very clear with my order as I don't like onions on my burgers. When I finally did get our food home it was not hot, and it was STILL wrong. Additionally the "large" fries that I got were the serving of a small. It wasn't enough to share between 2 people like I intended to.
Ultimately I think this is one Burger King that I will never return to no matter what deals they have going on because unfortunately, the crew that runs this place just doesn't care or doesn't pay attention to what they are doing. When I explained that the price was wrong for what was ordered, the guy did not see to know how to fix it. Probably new to the position. Then we had another person come to the window telling me a price and not correct the order. Again explained the order is not right for the price was told the manager would need to help me. The manager, I guess because she did not tell me who she was, demanded the money. When I told her that the price was wrong she told me that it was because they had me down for two of them. Then walked away saying that "It is not the end of the world." There was no effort to correct or fix the order. Then they could not correct it because the person that took the order was deaf. The manager refused service and told me that I was free to complain to corporate and that the number to corporate was "over there." Also saying that "not everyone can be like you." I do not know how many customers with disabilities this manager or this store has discriminated against. This type of behavior needs to stop and the personnel...
Read moreThe only reason I am even giving this place two stars is because their food is good. Other than that the restaurant has been dirty every time I go in. Have waited way too long multiple times to order and for food. The last time I went through the drive thru asked for extra sauce and the employee said its already in the bag. Waved us off and shut the window. We ordered 3 of the 10 piece chicken nuggets. So I walked in and asked for sauce and the employee who waved us off said you get two sauces per 10 piece then its 25¢. I kindly explained that she only gave us three and would appreciate it if she could just give us 2 more. She made an irritated noise but before she could say anything else luckily the manager jumped in and just gave them to me. I applaud the manager for that but the rest of the staff need to learn some customer service skills. I've read some if these reviews and its obvious that they are lacking in speaking kindly and respectfully, also in speed of service.
