I LOVE Popeyes food. But this location is horrible. Every time I visit this location there’s always something wrong. They either take extremely long, they’re very impolite, they burn my food or they get my order wrong. The only reason I still go to this location is because it’s close to home. But after this experience, I’m NEVER going back. I ordered my food and the employee taking my order sounded extremely bored and kind of irritated. It didn’t bug me because I stopped expecting much from this specific location. I told them to give me a minute to look over the menu and after about 30 seconds a different lady came on the intercom and pretty much yelled out to me and said “Order now!” I told her that I asked for a few minutes and she loudly and rudely said “Oh. Well okay then! You’re good!” Again, I didn’t really mind. After I ordered my food the boy let me know that it’d be about a 5-7 minute wait. I told them I was okay with that so I paid and pulled around to wait. When I parked I looked at my receipt and realized it said Bone-In instead of tenders. I went into the restaurant and politely let the cashier lady know that my receipt said Bone-In instead of tenders, just to make sure that’s what I receive. She was EXTREMELY RUDE about it. She said that there was something wrong with their system and their boards and that it’s going to say that on my receipt but I will get tenders. I told her that I was just double checking. She continued borderline yelling at me and then called (YELLED) over to the one who took my order and rudely said to him “You know it’s tenders not Bone-In on the 8 pc right?!” He looked at me said yes and then she looked at me and gave me a “I told you so” look. I started walking out to go back to my car and she continued talking to her worker in a rude way saying something like “Oh well it says one thing on her receipt but it means another. It’s just our system.” She just continued to be extremely unprofessional. She was saying it as if I knew that there was something wrong with their system so I interrupted her and rudely said back to her that I didn’t know that’s what it meant. I was extremely irritated at that point. I don’t know if she was a Manager or something but she had a blue shirt on while everyone else was wearing red. I assumed she’d be more professional if she was a manager and I’m 99% sure she’s the one who yelled at me through intercom when I was in the drive-thru. It was all so unpleasant thinking THAT is who would be handling my food. Anyways.. I go back out to my car to wait. After almost 25 minutes of waiting for my food that was supposed to be a “5-7” minute wait, I had my sister go in and get a refund because I didn’t want to deal with that rude woman again. (Yes, I know 25 minutes isn’t FOREVER but there was only 1 car in front of me in the drive-thru and 1 person inside the restaurant. Why would it take so long?) She asked for a refund because we no longer wanted to wait and the lady started yelling at her workers. Asking them why I was waiting so long and why my food wasn’t done yet. So it seemed like they pretty much forgot about us. I am NEVER going back to that location. The employees there are rude and definitely lack a sense of urgency to get orders out to paying...
Read moreI work pretty close to this location so I've gone to this location 3 times. Each time I have left pretty disappointed. The first time they forgot to give me my side of mac and cheese. I should of checked before driving off but there were cars behind me and I felt rushed so I just drove off. I didn't realize until I got back to work. The next two times the problem was concerning the lady that was working the drive thru, I believe she is the manager. So the second time I was ordering for myself and co-worker. I put in my order and drove up to the window, I realized that I wanted to add one more thing to my order so I ask the employee that was at the window if I could do that. She seemed annoyed and bothered, yanked the card from my hands but went ahead and got it done. The last time which was today, I went in and ordered through the drive thru and got helped by the same lady. She took my order and I drove up to the window, she took my card and ran it through. After a minute or two she turns to tell me that her card scanner isn't working and asks me if I have cash which I didn't. I told her that every time I go to their location there's a problem. She told me, "Listen, I have no control over the system" with such terrible attitude. I completely understand that no one has control over that... but it was the way she replied that just really bugged me. She tried to give me the drink but I declined it. She seems to want to give it to me to just get me out of there. She didn't apologize at all and just crossed her arms and kept on giving me attitude. I just don't get why the bad attitude when the customer has no fault in whatever is happening with their system. Oh well.. I gave this location three tries. I won't be...
Read more*This Review is based off of the last experience I had and isn't referring to Popeye's the restaurant or the food.
First off - I do want to say that the food we got tasted great, but it's not exactly what we went for. Initially we went for the new Limited Time special with the boneless wings and tots, however we were informed that they were out of ALL boneless wings and it would take 6 to 9 minutes to cook bone-in wings. Keep in mind that this was a Saturday night around 6:30pm, and the place was virtually empty. After deciding on alternate meals and ordering, we pulled up to the window to pay and we were greeted by a couple young adults who unfortunately weren't acting very professionally (and I don't have high standards for professionalism in fast food). There was a female at the pick-up window who seemed to be doing a fine job, her male coworker however did not make me very comfortable. He was wearing a dirty jacket with what looked like paint stains and I'm pretty sure he was stoned out of his mind, they kept closing the window and then whispering to each other while giving my brother and I really weird looks. Based on their behavior and the lack of actual customers or business, I don't believe they were actually out of boneless wings. My brother who actually worked for Popeye's at one point - and knows how the fast food industry works, said almost immediately that they were lying to us. Maybe they were, maybe they weren't - but we'll never know. I understand places run out of food or don't always have the manpower to do the necessary job, but the immaturity, unprofessionalism and lack of customer service we experienced is what will drive business away and is what ruined this Popeye's...
