Made a purchase on 11/14/2020, wasn't until AFTER paying at checkout that it was disclosed the item purchased was not in stock and delivery wouldn't be until mid December. Decided to risk it and assume they would honor their delivery date. Got a message via text delivery was going to happen 28 December. That day came and went without a delivery or phone call. Had to reach out three times until I finally got through to the local store to learn that we were not scheduled for delivery at all. Apparently one of the two items purchased was damaged and we would have to wait until mid January for a replacement. But as I said, I had to call to find out what was going on. Zero responses/call backs from their customer service lines. I was offered to have one of the two pieces delivered on their next available date... 04 January. I vented my frustration with the rep, their lack of communication, their poor customer service and then they offered to remove the delivery charge.. that they were going to charge us for EACH delivery. $149.00, twice. I actually had them repeat that they were going to charge us twice if we opted to get the first piece delivered separately. A quick look at reviews shows that this is not an isolated issue, and I understand COVID, but the complaints predate last March (2020).
You should really think about delivery dates and costs when making a purchase. Make sure the items are in stock/immediately available before you fork over thousands of dollars (like we did). That way you won't have to wait months to get your new furniture.
Sales people are nice, but need to be more transparent BEFORE checking out and finding that delivery is months away.
They need to learn how to communicate with customers on delivery dates and options and PROACTIVELY make contact, not wait for customers to get frustrated and complain.
Nothing feels worse than spending hundreds or thousands of dollars for items, then not receiving them AND getting absolutely no customer service.
All told it was 3 months from time of purchase to final delivery. My original observations remains, ask the sales person first if the furniture is in stock before the purchase (if you need them anytime soon), otherwise you'll be sitting on dinning room chairs for three months waiting for delivery. If you have a 2-4 month window, then you...

Read moreOur experience at the West Windsor clearance store with definitely interesting. We chose a chair that we were told had next day pick up and then once it was paid for in full was told it was not available for 4 to 5 days. We were specifically looking for a chair for our rental house because we had a family moving in so them misleading us was a major issue. After we left this location we continued to look for a chair. We found one elsewhere and when we returned to this location for a refund after we canceled the order taken approximately 60 minutes earlier there was a verbal dispute in full public view between the customer care manager and the floor manager. I felt terrible for the young woman who is being directed to handle the refund differently between these two managers. The customer care manager at this location was threatening the young woman doing our return with the loss of her job. This was a very uncomfortable situation to watch. The floor manager, Mona, was lovely to deal with but after what felt like a bait and switch on delivery times and the exceptionally unprofessional and aggressive behavior of the customer care manager it is unlikely we will ever return to this location. Not only were we told one thing prior to purchase and another after purchase but the conduct of the customer care manager was so angry, unprofessional, and honestly flat out mean to that young woman who is just trying to do her job we really don’t need to have any further contact. What could’ve been a simple, “I’m sorry we don’t have anything available I’m not short of a time frame” turned into being present for a bully of an employee taking centerstage. If this is what corporate supports as appropriate behavior I Want...
