I recently had the unfortunate experience of hosting a gathering at Chuck E. Cheese at princeton, and I must say it was one of the worst dining experiences I’ve ever encountered.
From the moment we arrived, it was clear that there was a lack of staff presence. Despite the restaurant being busy, there seemed to be no one available to assist us at our table. We found ourselves running around, trying to get the attention of servers to fulfill our food orders, which was incredibly frustrating.
To make matters worse, the salad platter we ordered arrived only at the end of the party, long after everyone had finished their main courses. It was disheartening to see that our requests were repeatedly overlooked. Additionally, the pizza was served cold, which only added to our disappointment.
When I approached the manager, Jay, hoping for some assistance or accountability, his response was disappointing. He stated that he was not responsible for our service issues since his shift had just started. This lack of ownership and concern for customer satisfaction was shocking.
The cake we ordered was also a major letdown. Not only did it look unappealing, but the taste was equally disappointing. It was not at all what we had expected for such an occasion.
To make matters even worse, we were promised goodie bags for our guests, but none were provided. We also had no plates for our food, and when the ice cream was finally served, there were no spoons available. This was a significant letdown, especially since we were looking forward to giving our guests a memorable experience.
Overall, the absence of support, the poor quality of food, and the failure to deliver on promises contributed to a very negative experience. I left feeling frustrated and unsatisfied. I had high hopes for this venue, but sadly, it did not meet any of my expectations. I cannot recommend Chuck E. Cheese based on...
Read moreWe arranged our daughter's 5th birthday at Chuck E Cheese Princeton location. The place was fun to be and was super clean as well. I had chosen the mega pack for her party. Not only the kids enjoyed the playing the games but they mostly enjoyed the surprise visit of their favorite character who hugged them and loved them especially the birthday girl.
The host was quite accommodating with all my requirements which was definitely good and another reason she was able to push things were because it was only my daughter's birthday party at that hour so there was no other parties happening so the place was quite empty and things like serving pizza ,getting chuck e cheese everything we had pushed so the kids cna first play as much as they want and later eat and relax and enjoy..
My only complain will be with the managing the whole event. i wish they were not out of staff on a weekend. Also my timing was from 5:30 and our cards were not activated until like 5:42pm. The kids were already there but we had to wait for the host and every time we had a question we had to reach out to the front desk and there was only one person standing who was mostly busy with other guests. So the host was not with us all the time. I also said twice for few games which were not working but no one came to fix it or address the issue immediately.
So overall definitely it's a good place for arranging a birthday party so much fun for kids with good food, play, meeting a cartoon character so overall yes its good place but only thing lagging is the proper managing the event by the responsible person who should take care of...
Read moreChuck E. Cheese just isn’t what they used to be they took out a lot of things that keeps the kids entertained. They don’t have anything for the kids to play around in and wear themselves out. I mean they most recently added a trampoline in there but that’s still not enough when everything else is just a few video games and a couple of rides for the toddlers other than that there’s really nothing else there. They took the stage out so Chucky and the rest of the gang don’t come out on the stage anymore and by the way, what happened to the rest of the gang anyway?
As far as food is concerned, there’s not too many options, which is to be expected at a place like that, but with such limited options could be a little better. The pizza is still OK not the best but OK the chicken wings come off like they are pre-cooked frozen chicken wings. They just require to be put in the toaster oven for a few… I do love the unlimited drinks.. so thats a plus.
I really don’t know what they need to do to make it better, but it really needs some type of upgrades. I mean it’s a good place to take the kids during the winter when you can’t always take them to the park, but it needs a little more to it for it to be great again as it was when I...
