Panera Bread — Restaurant in West Windsor

"Wendy's," replied my daughter when I asked her whether she'd like anything else after her $7 chicken noodle soup (12 oz paper bowl).

The wife seemed to be enjoying her $12 spicy chicken sandwich and my other daughter can live off her $9 mac and cheese.

I nodded, sipped my $4 drink, and continued eating my $10 flatbread out of a paper box.

Because $71 gets you a snacky dinner for 2 adults and 2 kids here, which I would generally (reluctantly) pay…but not at this location considering it's for counter service, and where I'm expected to bus my own table and eat out of paper plates with plastic utensils.

Placed a dine in order at the kiosk at 8:30 pm on a Monday evening that was not busy. (One couple ahead of me.) The order took about 10 minutes to fill, which gave me time to wipe down our crumby, sticky table.

When my name was called, I was given the entire order in a to-go bag, complete with the order receipt that had the words "DINE IN" in bold. I asked for plates and utensils a couple times and the dude in the back said something to the effect of "tell him ain't got none...we closed!"

It was nowhere close to closing time, and other diners had proper plates and bowls, albeit no metal silverware.

I hung around the pickup counter for a bit, and another lady walked over. I asked for a plate or something I could put my food in and she gave me plastic lids that go on top of takeout salad bowls saying they had run out of everything else. I stood there, looking at another order sitting on the counter with plates/bowls/containers, then looking back at her. She didn't get it. So I thanked her and walked away.

The food tastes good, and the ambience is nice, but I won't be...

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE, if you are OK with getting insulted by ignorant employees go to this location. I had my 5 years old son who asked for a smoothie , I ordered though the kiosk and went to pick up window, I found the smoothie cup ready with no name or receipt on it, just the cup I asked the guy ( was in a pink shirt today 11/23 at 2:40pm who RUDLY said “ I HAVE NO IDEA NOT MY PROBLEM” and walked away then grabbed the receipt and throw on top of the cup, I took the cup like ( only because it was ordered for a child, otherwise I would’ve left and contacted the customer service) then went to the front cashier asked for a manager to complaint about the NASTY SERVICE, the cashier came back stating I have to wait because the manager said is busy, I waited only to get this LIAR GIRL reaching out to me to hear my complaint then cut me off stating she was standing next to the this rude guy and SHE CLEARLY heard him saying “ hold on one second I will look into it” !! WHAT A LIAR WHO YOU THINK YOU ARE TALKING TO A DEAF LIAR YOU ARE WAY WORSE THAN THAT NASTY EMPLOYEE , then she did not even apologize or anything ALL this liar girl said was this guy is one of the managers! WOW LIAR LIKE IF I CARE , NOW I AM REPORTING YOU AND HIM FOR TREATING CUSTOMERS BAD INSULTING THEM AND LYING WHOEVER HIRED ANY OF YOU MANAGERS IS TOTALLY MISSED YOU! What's going on with this place? The last 3 visits have left me disappointed, and this last one was the final straw. Only giving 2 stars because the food wasn't horrible, otherwise it would be 1 star. The restaurant was filthy! We were there around 4pm on a Saturday afternoon. The floors were disgusting, trash overflowing, and I think we found the one table in the place that wasn't dirty. I'm used to having to clean my own table in this place from the last few times I was there, but the floor had me really grossed out. Stuff everywhere like there wasn't a broom or a mop to be found in this place. In addition, everything around the soda machine was gross. Things spilled everywhere that no one had cleaned. The soda fountain looks dirty and in need of maintenance. I can deal with the fact that we've gone from ordering and someone bringing you your food, to now having to wait to hear your name called and pick it up yourself. I used to go there frequently and enjoyed my experiences, but the last few visits just seem to be getting worse and...
