Big Y — Local services in Westfield

I am not sure who Big Y thinks they are, Whole Foods prices without the Whole Foods quality. The Big Y can barely keep anything in stock. The produce that they put out is laughable. I prefer that my family eats healthy, and within the last month this big Y has discontinued three of the healthy alternatives that my family and I were eating. Turns out that Big Y not only wants to rob you of your money, but also your health. It is sad that there is not a Trader Joe’s or a Whole Foods nearby because they would put Big Y to shame. Now, I will gladly make the 30 minute drive to Trader Joe’s or Whole Foods each week and spend my money elsewhere. Someone let me know when there is a petition to sign for a Whole Foods or a Trader Joe’s in this area. I will gladly sign it as I’d love to see the monopoly that is Big Y in this area...

I recently visited Big Y to buy some fresh produce, but unfortunately, the quality of the produce was terrible. The vegetables looked wilted and old, the fruits were bruised and overripe, and some of the items also had mold growing on them.

I was extremely disappointed with the quality of the produce, especially considering the reputation of Big Y as a reputable store that boasts of high-quality items. It was not just one or two items that were bad, but almost everything that I picked up from the produce section.

Based on my experience, I'm hesitant to return and purchase fresh produce from Big Y again.

I always believe that Big Y are the one of the best supermarkets around but this Big Y in particular is the rotten apple. There's been few times that I have gone to this supermarket the staff is so rude they look that they had enough in life (miserable) . The food is not fresh at all. Hot Soups were so dry and disgusting. I ordered a 30 inch grinder and the bread wasn't fresh at all taste like old bread from 3 days ago. My daughter bought a slice of pizza the dough was chewy and hard. Cashiers stand literary by my side when I'm paying my groceries like they think I'm gonna steal something Mind you I'm hispanic...today I had enough because this is not the first time. Big Y...
