Probably the best burger and fries you’ll find in Western Massachusetts. Every so often you’ll see an article on the “worst” burger. I recently saw one where that distinction was awarded to Five Guys. It doesn’t mean their burger and fries is not wonderful, because it is, it means it’s not the most healthy thing that you can eat but as you know, that’s not why you eat a burger and fries, you eat it because it’s delicious. We need self-control and common sense to keep us healthy but once in a while, we can eat something that’s really good and an awesome cheeseburger, a piece of chocolate cake, a couple glasses of excellent red wine, etc. I probably only go to five guys two or three times a year, but when I do, I simply savor the experience.
I think they know how much we enjoy it no matter what size fry you add to your order they will put that in a cup, and then on top of that they throw a generous portion of additional fries in the bag. I think they know I’m there today to splurge and want to help me enjoy my experience. I am and they do. Enjoy, just...
Read moreThe food is great, but unfortunately the management is severely lacking. I had received a comp card because they didn’t have my shake on my online order and when I tried to redeem it, it wasn’t activated. The crew got in contact with their General Manager in which I was then on the phone with and she indirectly accused me of stealing the card and asked for my phone number to further contact me about the card. She was extremely rude and quickly blamed me; saying her managers told her that none of them gave out a comp card. I’m extremely upset. When the crew members apologize, I actually felt like they more deserved the apology. I could never work for a manager who handles things the way that this general manager handled the situation today. I don’t think I’ll be going back. Never had a conversation with such a rude person nor have I ever indirectly been called a liar by a manager as high up as this lady was. All in all, that ruined the experience and the food just...
Read moreOnce again my order was prepared wrong. On my receipt it's what I ordered. Once I got home and opened my burger...wrong, wrong, wrong, again! I guess the working staff should learn how to read. There so busy rushing to get the order ready, but it's wrong, it's a race for another wrong order. Well the fries are ok...most of the time. This is the Westfield Ma. store. Then there was the summer when the Five Guys stores did not have any pickles! I sure the manager "hopefully" used his/her common sense, you would think they would go to a local store and purchase pickels, but that didn't happen. Maybe some educated idiot @ corporate over rode the common sense approach. So much for the "customer comes first". The two Five Guys in this area have reduced the size of their burgers as well as the portion size of the fries, yet increases their prices. Just under $20.00 for 2-little cheese burgers, one middle size fry...
