I will never do business with this store again.
When upgrading your phone you should only have to go to the store once. I have had to go on to the store 5 times. I have had nothing but problems and none of the employees seem to know what is going on.
On my first trip they did not have the phone I wanted in stock. That was ok, I wasnāt in a major rush. We ordered my phone and the employee promised I would get the same discount when I picked up my phone, or greater if a better discount was going on at the time of my pick up.
A week later someone from the store called not my phone like promised, but my fatherās phone, twice and very unprofessionally did not leave a message either time. Figuring that my phone might be in and being in the area, I swung by to check. The employee walked to the back to check, then had to come back out to re-ask what my phone was etc, and went to the back again. When they came out, the answer was no, my phone was not in.
Another week passes and I decide to call and check in. Yes, there was a phone in the back that was the same as my order, but it was unlabeled. It must be mine? This made me worry that no one was ever going to follow through with my order.
I go into the store and of course the employee tries to up-sell me on everything under the sun, fine. I finally agree to a screen protector for $20. Right before the employee rings it in he mentions that, āoh by the way this isnāt for your phone, but donāt worry, Iāll cut it down.ā For real? No, Iām not paying for something new for it to be jury-rigged. I told the employee to forget it. He kindly filled out the rebate information for me so that all I would have to do is put a stamp on the envelope and drop it in the mail. I did so.
Two weeks later I get an email saying that my rebate is invalid. So I go into the store, again. This time the employee states that there is no rebate, that even though I ordered my phone during the rebate, I was misinformed and cannot receive it due to actually purchasing it at a different time. They say they will see what they can do and āsomeone should call me, or email me, or something, sometime.ā How kindā¦
A few days later I get a call from an employee telling me that yes, there IS intact a rebate I can get and that the other person was wrongā¦.so now I have to go in for the fifth time.
I am extremely unhappy with the service I have received and will never do business...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWalked into the store with my fiance to upgrade our current phones, we were greeted by a gentleman who SEEMED eager to help... We told him what phones we wanted and he proceeded to talk us out of our purchase. My fiance and I have both worked in IT for cumulatively about 12+ years and we are constantly keeping up with times and new technology, and we both have worked retail before. This was HONESTLY THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE experience we BOTH have EVER had! This sales representative proceeded to tell us that we haven' t work retail in years and IT doesn't mean that we know what we are talking about "watching a website review, doesn't make us qualified to know about phones". EXCUSE ME!? Not to mention we told him what phone we wanted (Note9) and he told us that it was a terrible phone and we should get the pixel 3, after we explained we needed a headphone jack for our cars, he then says "wow, your cars don't have Bluetooth?!" (IN A VERY CONDESCENDING TONE) We are telling you what we want and WERE A GUARANTEED sale and I can honestly say that this gentleman walked us out of the store and down the road to the Verizon in West Springfield. I highly recommend that you don't go to the Verizon store in Westfield unless you want to feel belittled or lower class for not having access to certain luxuries like a Bluetooth enabled stereo in your car. Or that your career choice makes you less knowledgable then someone else, because you haven't "physically touched the phone". Don't waste your time just go to a store that cares about the customers down the street....

The what seemed to be manager came over to us while I was explaining what I was trying to do and what phone I wanted. I simply wanted the 11 in purple thatās it. Not only did they only have 1 red iPhone 11, this āsales manā proceeded to tell me there would be no chance that I would ever find a purple with the gb I wanted because itās sold out everywhere. at this point I was so upset and felt as if he completely dismissed me and had zero skills in customer service. Iāve working in customer service for 10 years and would never treat a customer or employee the way he treated myself and the woman who was working with us. then he proceeded to say in front of me that I can change the plan and just pick it up on the west springfield store.
After some thinking and horrible customer service from this guy, I said thanks anyway but for what I want I am going to west springfield.
Went to west springfield, they had PLENTY of purple 11s with the GB I wanted, the man Bob was so nice and helpful, the woman on the phone who helped me transfer service, Jackie couldnāt have been nicer. So happy I didnāt settle for the westfield business.
i want to reiterate than the young girl working here Sunday from 330-on was so nice and deserves to be in a better store with men who arenāt jerks because they are managers of a Verizon store. Iām sorry but thatās nothing to be a jerk...
