This office is horrible to deal with. We've been coming here for 3 years now since my daughter was born and it's time to switch. From the start there was always long wait times both in the waiting room and in the exam room. When it comes to vaccines we ask that she only gets the ones required for school but are told we are horrible parents for not getting her every available vaccine. It's nearly impossible to get an appointment. The staff is extremely rude. On one occasion I called to get a referral for an allergist for my daughter since she reacted to peanuts. The first thing that came out of the nurse's mouth was "your daughter shouldn't have peanuts until she's 2!". Ok, so I'm a horrible mother. How is telling me I'm a horrible mother going to help my child find an allergist? Now it's time for her yearly check-up. We've been calling and can never get anyone on the phone. Numerous voice mails have been left with no return calls. Finally 3 weeks later they returned one of our numerous calls and we can't get an appointment for 2 months. We purposely called well in advance to try to get an appointment before preschool starts at the beginning of August. Had they answered their phone 3 weeks ago when we originally called we would've been able to get an appointment before school started. Now we are switching practices and are requesting her records be transferred. I had to fax the request to them yesterday. Called 3 times today before I got someone on the phone (not even during their lunch time) to check and make sure they got it. I work all day and really don't have the time to be calling them non-stop and being placed on hold for 10 minutes at a time before being disconnected. They said they got it and were working on it but won't be able to fax it to the new doctor and that I had to pick it up. I was told it would be a $40 charge. On their website it says they charge $1 per page for transfers. Technically this was not a transfer as they did not fax it and made me come pick it up. Also there was definitely not 40 pages of copies; not even close to it and none of the pages were double-sided. In the end they changed it to only $20. Still a ridiculous price. Just glad I'm officially done...
Read moreAppointment was set. Showed up 15 minutes early as directed. The office texted me asking if I was here and I responded yes. They told me to wait in my car. Fast forward 40 minutes later with no contact from the Dr. office I decided to go inside to see what was happening with my apppointment. I was told that they were behind and there were still 2 people in front of me waiting outside. I found this so inconsiderate as I could have taken my son home and come back since it would be approximately 90 minutes total time waiting in the car before I would be let into the office. This is a long time to be expected to wait in your car with a sick child. The Dr. who came out to speak with me was very rude with zero empathy or even apologetic in any way. It is understandable to run behind but, there is no forgiveness for not communicating and not respecting me and my time. We loved Robyn Scudder when she was here and stayed on after she left but, since she is gone there is no reason to stay and deal with the rudeness and lack of consideration for me and my children. Pulling all 3 of my kids out and finding a new...
Read moreMy kids were patients here for over 10 years. Dr Cavuto is a great doctor. It’s unfortunate that the staff at the office are so awful and treat patients and parents so poorly. They refused to schedule a sick appointment for my daughter because they said that I owed them $20. We didn’t owe them anything. What kind of doctor’s office would deny a sick patient care over $20? They insisted that we pay them many times over the years when we didn’t owe any money according to insurance EOB. The negative review s are consistent and spot on.
Update: we have since left this office and requested a copy of my daughter’s immunization record and they initially refused to provide it saying we owe them $20. When I called back and let them know that it was a HIPPA violation they decided to provide it. Apparently they don’t...
