One of the most disappointing pedicures Iāve ever had and I am the last person to ever write a review or complain about a service. I typically try and justify any experiences I have and never speak up as I am choosing to get a service done rather than do it myself but there was not one thing I could justify this with. I wanted to try out a new spot for pedicures as my old one changed a little but always had great pedicure experiences. I was recommended this spot by a friend but was unable to book with the person she recommended. The website to book the appointment makes you choose a specific person to do the service you are choosing. I chose, and to my surprise a completely different person provided my spa pedicure. I chose the lavender spa pedicure and she started cleaning up my nails. She barely cleaned my cuticles, and barely shaved my skin down on the heels and rest of my foot. I left with my feet still feeling dry and she didnāt even take most of the dead skin off. She applied almost no pressure when using the skin shaver/pumice.(added photos to show how crusty my feet still are after the service) When she did the exfoliator, she just spread it on my feet and legs and did not rub it into my skin and quickly rinsed it off. This service comes with a 10 min massage in which I thought maybe was the redemption for the poor service. Nope, most of the 10 mins was her just rubbing the heel of my foot looking like she couldnāt wait for this 10 mins to be up, continuing to check on the time. Tried to justify this by her just checking so she balances the time right but after the first 5 mins she switched feet..thereās no need to watch the time anymore. Was not much of a massage at all, just a rubbing of my heel with the occasional rub moving to my leg. The hot stones were last in which she rubbed the stone on my leg and foot only one time around and just put them back down. I was shocked. Granted I know the stones is usually a faster massage, but just one time is crazy.. Spa pedicures are not cheap unfortunately the only thing I can say was okay was the paint job was fine and neat. The lady next to me getting a pedicure was there before I even got to the establishment and we almost finished at the same time. It felt like everything she did was rushed and she was trying to have a record fast time on performing this service even though this place wasnāt busy.
Sucks that I need to pay again but I am going tomorrow to a different spot to get my pedicure redone because of how poorly this service was done and how dry my feet still are.
Employees need to be retrained and showed how to complete the services correctly. Until they actually solve these issues I do not recommend trying this establishment. I did see very similar experiences in the reviews proving my point that they are not solving the issues. Apologies do not have meaning if the establishment is not fixing the...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIf I could give a 0 I would. I donāt normally go here but had an issue with my usual place. I walked in to just get my gel polish removed and repainted with a design and they wanted to charge $50 that almost the cost of a refill. None of this was communicated to me when I called either. I know nails are expensive but thatās beyond INSANE. I got them done the day before new set and acrylic for $75 with design.
Also want to point out the lady at reception seemed beyond annoyed I was there and was rude and spoke to me like I was stupid for not knowing the cost breakdown.
And before anyone says the Iām not happy with the design of the original and I got what I paid for, this was the first time something didnāt pan out and I have an event so was on a time crunch to fix the design and my normal girl is on vacation.
Donāt give your money to Winnieās what u rip off.
ADDED AFTER BUSINESS RESPONSE: Let me be very clear. I have been a customer here before, so your allegation that I didnāt understand how things work is false. I found a place closer to me and so had been going there instead. Iāve never had to get a simple repaint job done at your establishment before, and as I stated this was a time constraint emergency. But that doesnāt excuse the lack of communication. I was never given a clear price when I called, and when I asked in person, I was met with attitude and condescension. This isnāt about the cost , itās about how I was treated. I expected better based on my previous visits. People deserve to be treated with basic respect, especially when theyāre just...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI don't usually like to leave negative reviews, but I would hate for someone to have the same issues. I went to Winnie Nails twice for SNS (dip powder) and s pedicure. First time I saw Alex and my manicure was ok, even though she used gel top istead of one for SNS. I had to fix it after about a week as it started catching on everything. As for the pedi, I specifically told her that I hadlve ingrown nail and she didn't do anything about it. The second time, I went and wanted to try someone else. I read all the positive reviews about Joy and made an appointment with her. When I walked in, I was told that she is running late. After about 20 min of waiting, I asked again she she started working on my nails. She did everything super quick. Needless to say, my pedicure looks like it hasn't been done in months and it's been a week and a half. My mani started to chip after 3 days with one of them chipping to the point of breaking. I have been getting dip mani done for over 10 years and when done correctly, it never chips. My cuticles look horrible. It's been a week and a half and my nails look overgrown and seems like it has been over 3 weeks. Usually my mani lasts at...
