Nucar Honda of Westord
My interaction with Nucar Honda of Westford began the evening of 4/27/25 after I was researching the Honda Ridgeline on Consumer Reports and was linked in with their sales team. I almost immediately received an offer but as I live in NH and it included MA sales tax I had to await contact from the sales team the AM of 4/28/25 to confirm the price less the MA sales tax was correct.
It was a bit confusing knowing exactly who I was communicating with as the entire sales team seems to be linked into the same text message thread. It was month end so there seemed to be more urgency to have me come in and sign papers. I explained that I was from NH and it was a 1.5 hour drive to get there and I couldnât just drop everything to come down. I asked if a notarize NH Power of Attorney to sign on my wifeâs behalf would be acceptable and I was told that it was so I said great, in that case, I could come in the next day 4/29/25 to sign for both of us. When I inquired about a deposit. I was told I could use my credit card to put up to $3000 down. I said great, Iâll confirm with my wife and call back and give you my credit card number at lunch on 4/28/25 to hold the truck. I was then told that since it was month end they couldnât take a deposit and hold the truck. I was concerned about the flip flopping on this. I said that I would call the next day before I went to the bank to get my cashierâs check to confirm that the truck was still available as they wouldnât take my deposit.
I called and all was good so I proceeded and went straight from work. When I arrived I was handed off to a different salesman named Kennette. I want to say that Kennette was FANTASTIC. He took over the process at this time. After finding the keys for the truck we went out to look at it. As I checked it over I remarked that the Ridgeline lettering I had indicated I wanted in the tailgate (black lettering within the stamped letters) werenât on the truck like the other salesman assured me they were. Kennette was able to figure out the miscommunication and had them added to the deal at cost. Kennette unfortunately found out that I was definitely misinformed about being able to use my notariezed Power of Attorney to be able to sign for my wife but assured me that my wife will be able to sign the paperwork when we take delivery of the truck this upcoming week in NH.
There was one final glitch at the end of the process when the business manager thought the numbers didnât add up and that I was given credit for a deposit I didnât make. I adamantly explained that I tried multiple times to give them a deposit but it was refused. He was finally able to ascertain that the âdepositâ was actually a Honda promotion/rebate.
I will take delivery of the truck on 5/7/25 so I hope if goes smoothly!

   Read moreIf I could leave zero stars I would have. Please don't ever purchase a warranty from here as they are a joke. When I purchased my vehicle I was really pushed to bye an extended warranty that is "bumper to bumper." It really is all a money scam. Since I've had the warranty, I've only brought it in to the service department, maybe three times. Of those three, two they've told me nothing was wrong with it that it was the back tires. They don't want to fix it because it's under warranty so they use the excuse that it's the back tires. I've gone through three or four sets of (back only) tires since I bought the car. It's a 2019. I have the paperwork to prove it. I've had numerous passengers in my car that can hear the noise that it makes because of the bearings and they've stated over and over that it's the bearings. One plus one can only equal two here. I called and spoke to Garrett in the service department who spoke down to me because I am a woman and told me that I needed to "settle down" because I wasn't allowing him to railroad me and repeatedly interrupt my statements. Settle down? I did not raise my voice, I did not use profanity and I spoke very professionally to him. He clearly is a misogynistic man who thinks he can speak down to women and keep the quiet by interrupting, cutting them off, telling them to "settle down" and putting them on hold in the middle of their statement. When Garrett initially came to the phone I asked him how his day was and spoke to him like an equal human being who deserves respect only to not get that respect in return. I will be changing my tires for the 4th or 5th time since I've had the car and bringing my car to an independent mechanic who I am almost certain will be diagnosing it correctly. I will have my own video of what the bearings look like, since your service department keeps telling me they're fine, and then I will take the appropriate action necessary to hold your company liable for it's irresponsibility to the safety of my vehicle...

Carlos was our salesman and while I canât say he can do this all the time, he was texting with me at 11:30pm to make sure I had everything I needed for paperwork to ensure a quick and smooth pickup of our new Honda Pilot. While we were at the dealership, Carlos had to help another customer and while we were waiting another gentleman named Ali took my wife and I over to his desk to help us get the application and other paperwork rolling. He did this knowing full well that he wasnât getting the sale credit, itâs just how they work over there. The salesmen are friends and they help each other, they donât argue over commission. My wife and I were very impressed by that. Also, most of the same people who were there over a year ago when our son bought his car are still there, including Carlos. That tells me that this dealership is doing things right and the people there work as a team, because I worked at a dealership in the late 90âs in Natick and the turnover was ridiculous, as it was at every dealership. Youâd never go back a year later to find any of the same people still there, but this place is different. In addition to the sales team, we worked with Mike in finance and he was able to get us a great deal on our car and he was working to get us the most out of our loan while trying to keep the payments as low as possible.. And he delivered! He came back to us with a payment that was 100.00 less than we were initially quoted. He took his time with us, he was very patient and in the end he was able to get us the most for our money.
