Our youngest recently graduated from The Goddard School of Westford, and that capped off a full decade of care for both of our kids. After all this time, I honestly can't imagine sending our children anywhere else. From the moment we first met with the owners, Fred and Nina, it was clear that The Goddard School stood well above any of the other early childhood care and education programs we had visited. They were thorough, transparent, and seemed genuinely invested in the safety, happiness, and well-being of each child in their care. As new parents dropping our daughter off for the first time, we were of course nervous about the prospect, but Fred, Nina, and all of the teachers did an outstanding job of demonstrating an exceptional level of care and attention given to our child. From that moment on, we honestly never had a second thought about our choice to send our kids to The Goddard School. The trust and peace of mind was invaluable.

As both of our kids are now in elementary school, we've also seen how well the teachers and the early education program offered at The Goddard School prepared them for Kindergarten and beyond. It's clear education is a big priority at The Goddard School. Both of our kids' progress was tracked and measured as they moved from preschool to pre-Kindergarten. Everything was individualized and by the time they both entered Kindergarten we had a very crisp picture of where they each stood.

Finally, as we are all well-aware, COVID-19 threw a major wrench into daily life, and schools of all types were no exception. Many parents, ourselves included, were very apprehensive about sending our child back to school when they first reopened. However, Fred and Nina did an outstanding job of adapting the physical space to meet all of the safety requirements and beyond. They were also steadfast about maintaining the same high levels of safety protocols at all times. As a parent, it was impressive and reassuring to see such a swift implementation of safety measures and constant diligence when they reopened.

Three wonderful years at Goddard Why we chose Goddard? As a parent of an only child, socialization with children her own age was important to us. Our daughter at the time was 2, and we began looking into preschool options for her. We visited all the local Littleton/Westford schools. What we liked best about Goddard was:

1. Nina and Fred running the operational end of the school and Donna running the curriculum. This separation of operational, logistical, security and curriculum was not found in other schools. What we saw at other schools was factory behavior and overworked stressed out women, who couldn’t cope with balancing corporate dictated curriculum and operations.
2. Teachers – our first interactions on visiting day was wonderful. They immediately exhibited welcoming and caring for each student. Fun, clean classrooms where we heard kids playing and laughing. This was not found at others we visited. What made us stay at Goddard? The caring warm family environment, where are daughter was appreciated for her individual creative personality. The teachers and administration did a wonderful job each time she transitioned from one classroom to another, ensuring that she was comfortable with the new setting before switching her. The teachers are amazing, caring, energetic individuals who know your child and their needs. Debbie is the best. I watched our daughter grow and develop a love of learning and curiosity which provides her the foundations for her life. We are sad to leave Goddard, but know that our daughter is more than ready for kindergarten thanks to the wonderful...

We love the Goddard School at Westford. When we first met Nina and Fred when looking at schools after moving to the area, it was clear that they had figured out how to run a daycare/preschool efficiently and had hired the right staff to create a great environment for nurturing, loving, and learning. It was an easy decision to send our kids there.

Both of our kids attended Goddard year round until Kindergarten. Our daughter started in Preschool and thrived throughout her two years there and was well prepared for Kindergarten. Our son started in the Toddler classroom and went all the way through until his recent graduation. He is very excited and we are confident he is prepared to start Kindergarten in the fall both from an educational and a social perspective. My daughter loved her teachers so much, she would be excited to come along to pick up our son so that she could say hi to her old teachers.

Nina, Fred, and Lindsey run the program so well with excellent communication and respond to any emails we send immediately. The use of the Tadpoles app allowed us to see exactly what the kids were learning every week and provided pictures on a daily basis.

Once COVID started, we had no hesitations with sending our son back to school when they re-opened and despite the regulations, the classes ran just as smoothly as before.
