This place is not luxury living at all. For almost $3,000 for a two bedroom apartment, I would not recommend the place to anyone. During COVID-19, almost the entire staff went to a WFH schedule, tours were unmonitored, where certain apartments were left open for the public to just walk in without any cleaning or mask protocol, and the reason for not having the pool, business areas, theater, or even package system work properly were blamed on the "difficult times". Yet, while they asked for our flexibility, they sent eviction notices to people on the second day after rent was due.
Now a year later, things have not improved, the once 24/7 gym is only open during the hours staff is in, you can smell pot in the hallways and your packages are left unattended outside the package building, random doorways and other unmonitored areas instead of using the tracking system you're charged for. Under new management, I can't access my lease or invoices through the new website and it seems they can't either. I've had maintenance requests open for over a month and we have had deaths here due to overdoses.
Honestly, this is a pretty building pretending to be something it's not and if you don't believe me, take their word for it straight from these emails they've been sending:
Dear Resident(s),
We want to thank you for choosing to call Bell Westford home. We have sent out communications on several occasions since Bell Partners took ownership and as we continue our transition.
We have a zero-tolerance policy on smoking that is laid out in the lease agreement signed by all residents. At no time do we permit the use of cigarettes, hookahs, e-cigarettes, vape pens, nor marijuana inside any apartment, balcony, common area, courtyard, or pool deck. Violations of this policy are considered a breach of the lease agreement and grounds for immediate termination. Please know we are made aware of who continues to break these rules, and the next step will be individual letters sent from our attorneys.
As a reminder Bell Westford is pet friendly and residents are required to dispose of pet waste with or without the waste bins located throughout the community. To help ensure residents have easier ability to pick up waste, we plan on installing more waste stations in the spring. If your pet has an accident inside the building, it is the residentâs responsibility for removing any pet waste and cleaning the affected area immediately. Excessive barking or howling by dogs disrupts all residents and will not be tolerated. Residents with private yards are to supervise their pets and may not leave them unattended in the yard.
Not all residents have been complying with our snow removal policies. For the plow company to effectively clear the parking lots, we need full cooperation from residents to move their vehicles. In the upcoming weeks as we receive heavy amounts of snow, we will have the snow removal company plowing the parking lots and clearing the sidewalks on a consistent basis. To reiterate the policy, after every snowstorm residents are to clear off their own cars and move their vehicles to an already cleared spot in the over flow areas. If all residents do not comply the plow company is not able to effectively use their equipment. It also affects your neighbors who are following the policies. Failure to move vehicles during snowstorms will result in towing to another open spot on-site at the residentâs expense.
This letter serves as a reminder that residents found not abiding by these policies are subject to lease violations and potential legal action up to and including eviction. The Bell Westford community needs to come together and respect the community policies and your neighbors. We continue to work on making Bell Westford an enjoyable living experience for all.
Should you have any questions about these policies, please contact the Leasing Office. We appreciate your immediate attention to these issues and your cooperation.
Sincerely, Bell Westford...

Office still sits around and does absolutely nothing. It only seems to be getting worse with each new "Manager" There's dog pee in the elevators almost daily, the hallways reek, and I have a wasp problem that has seen no resolution. I've recently lost important packages because the mail rooms is STILL unattended and just a free for all. Hard earned money down the drain and all they ever do is say sorry and offer what I can only assume is there version of a good excuse. no one follows through on anything, no one is held accountable, all they do is cover up awful management with coffee and cookies instead of taking action.
Iâm posting another review, After Bell took over I was hopeful, while management is friendly they are also negligent and this has caused the community to nose dive.
They do not take care of the amenities, we have 2 fire places, Half of one is broken and another one is not usable at all and they have been like this for since last summer. The Dog park is a cesspool, if itâs not flooded itâs overgrown and a tick haven. Thereâs a walking trail that is also overgrown and not taken care of. The pool was not ready in time and the new system they implemented they could not even follow through with due to under preparedness. The package room is always a mess and is still broken they have been âworking on itâ for about 5 months now. Packages are never where they should be and just thrown on the floor and itâs a free for all. They like to pride themselves on the amenities and post about them on social media but thereâs nothing to be proud of especially in the state they are currently in.
The buildings themselves Are also unkept. The rugs and walls are dirty, paint missing from from the elevators and metal doors. I watched them move someone into an apartment with a broken gate that they are âworking onâ even though the previous tenants have been gone for about two months. The landscape has exposed hoses in the mulch beds and missing plants. They also did a terrible job salting in the winter. My fiancĂ© and two others in the community fell several times.
In all Iâm hoping somebody realizes the lack of care and does something especially with rent creases and rather than just saying âplease contact us about your bad experienceâ. This place is nice and I would like to see it do well. But management needs to step up and...
Read moreI immediately fell in love with this beautiful stylish apartment when I first laid my eyes on. I was so excited to move in. Unfortunately, though, I was disappointed because of couple of reasons. First of all, it's probably not really the management's fault but the construction work was poorly done, it's almost like they rushed building. I had to request maintenance work right away upon our move. Nails under the carpet weren't hammered down so they were sticking out which was very dangerous, the dishwasher wasn't installed properly, there were holes on the wall, some floor board was unfinished, light fixture/vent were crooked, scratches on cabinets, etc, I could go on. Maintenance team and staff in the office are all nice enough but I used to live in Avalon and there is just no comparison. Staff at Avalon were very professional, the maintenance team was exceptional, they fixed the problem next day and always cleaned the worksite. Only reason I decided to move out of Avalon was that the building I was living in was getting old and the noise from upstairs was getting louder and became unbearable. I was so hopeful after having a tour at Westford Hills that this new building might have a better soundproof. That was not the case. People upstairs are very loud, not that they play music loudly or anything but their footsteps, their child running around the apartment are so loud that it is impossible to stay asleep once they wake up. They wake me up at 6am every morning, including weekend. The child runs around as soon as s/he wakes up. They walk around very loudly that there is no way I can continue sleeping. I turn the white noise machine volume max, I wear ear plugs, too. Nothing works. The building has no soundproofing. I am so very disappointed. The apartment and amenities are nice although the mailroom system isn't great(Avalon had Amazon locker which stores each package separately opposed to all the packages randomly in one big room). I see many people gave positive reviews but it just doesn't feel like I'm in a great community as I felt when I was living at Avalon. I feel that I made a big mistake leaving there and moved into this apartment. Very disappointed about the noise I have to listen to every day, the building construction, and not having the sense of living in a part of safe and...
