Public Storage — Local services in Westford

Initially, staff was very helpful and the unit was clean. No problems while using the unit. I gave a 5-star review at this time.

Fast forward 6+ months later - I moved out of my unit but the employee forgot to close it out in the system. Because of that, I got billed for another month and since then frustrations have ensued. After a few phone calls, I was told this was an error on their part and that they would deal with it. A few weeks later, I get a letter from a collections agency saying I owe this bill. That was mid-November. I've been trying to contact different people at Public Storage and keep being told that this needs to be addressed with Steve the District Manager. Too bad that every single time I call him the phone goes to voicemail and he never responds to my messages. I've been told (but don't actually believe) that he's been contacted by his people about my situation as well, but still no response.

Moral of the story - BE CAREFUL about renting from Public Storage... Make sure you can see and confirm that your unit is closed out or they'll try and...

I lost my first born son Armand Jr on December 05, 2016 before he die he had just bought all new furniture a whole house of it! All my sons property was destroyed in the unit i rented from them! Everyday for me is Hell and the day i went to get all his property out it brought me to my knees im devastated and even tho im insured it will never cover the actual cost in money and it will never cover the damage it has done to me mentally/emotionally theres No Recovering Theres Nothing but Water Damaged Property that Crushes me at Every Glance. If they just maintained their buildings and werent so damn negligent Id be Sitting down or curled up on My 23 yrs son Armand jr couch with his beautiful daughter, (My granddaughter) ANYONE WITH ANY WATER DAMAGE IN UNIT C 32 or above or ANYWHERE...

Rented mid-January to mid-February; driveway in between buildings B & C was covered with snow when we moved in. Thought this might be a fluke. Unfortunately, the next 2 times we visited, the driveway was worse! When we checked out, it was a couple of days after the ice/rain/snow episode. Staff claimed the plow did not come since there wasn't enough snow. Alas, 2" of ice was disastrous as we could not load without a tremendous amount of caution! One in our party fell flat on pavement! A staff member did come out to add a bit of sand to the entrance after the fact, but unfortunately not enough for location and situation! Was called by district management the following week. The unit was OK...I am sure there are other local storage areas to choose from next time. Price and location were good. Make sure you know what building and space you plan on renting...
