Menchie's Frozen Yogurt — Local services in Westminster

I used to love this location (it’s been going down hill for the last couple of years) but last night was probably the last time I’ll go there. It is so filthy and the kids that work there just hang out in the back. I always have to wait for them to ring me up. I’m pretty sure that they’re just hanging out back there when they should be CLEANING. Last night they had six flavors with more than half of the machines empty. I had been wanting to try the eggnog flavor and knew that it wouldn’t be around much longer so I made the mistake of trying it. It tasted nothing like eggnog was really tangy and weird. I’m thinking that maybe it had gone bad or they didn’t clean the machine before adding that flavor. Anyway I’m not feeling great today and it is at the top of the list of things that I assume could have made me sick. Anyway even if it’s not this place is filthy and the owners really must not care about how their business...

Terrible customer service!!! Apparently they do business with 1-800-flowers as a third party supplier. Someone spent a lot of money on sending me an edible arrangement that unfortunately landed in their hands. Menchies received the order, made it and delivered it on the WRONG date. It sat outside rotting in 100 degree heat for 3 hours. I called them requesting a remake of the order or a refund to the sender. It is 100% their fault they made the arrangement and had it delivered on the WRONG date. All they did was try to pawn me off on 1-800-flowers instead of rectifying their wrong. They should not be doing anything but making frozen yogurt if they can’t read a simple delivery date correctly. I will also be reporting this to the BBB. It is so sad that they can’t take ownership of their mistake over a freaking...

I'm giving this a 3 star because the first 2 times I went into the shop it was great. Very clean and the two employees were very nice. No complaints.

But, tonight I wanted to take a friend in, that had never been there before. We pulled up at 9:38 pm and the open sign was off and there was an employee mopping the floor. Additionally, when we parked she moved towards the door and either locked or unlocked the door. She stood in the front corner of the store, somewhat behind a poster that was in the window.

I have worked retail and if I even turned off the open sign one minute early, I would have been written up and possibly terminated.
