I now live in nyc but visit my parents in Westport on a regular basis. I have shopped at Mitchell’s on and off for 40 years. Shopping there is a pleasure. I walk in and there is no pressure from anyone. I am left alone to shop wo being harassed. I’m an adult, I don’t need help choosing a pair of pants. When I need help w sizes etc, I walk 50 feet and say, excuse me, can you help me please? The sales person says absolutely, what do you need? I love that type of service. I get to walk around and enjoy the experience wo feeling rush or harassed.
