Dealing with Pottery Barn has been my worst consumer nightmare. I ordered furniture in October 2020. Was told that it would be delivered 6-8 weeks. Then I was told that due to COVID and supply chains it would take longer. WEll 6 months later I get an email saying my furniture was going to be delivered. I in anticipation sold all my living room furniture as I had ordered a brand new living room. THe truck arrived with one chair for us. The majority of my furniture was not on the truck and two hours on the phone led the customer service people to tell me they had no idea where my furniture was. One rep said that I should just order a ready made couch and one person tell me that it was reasonable to wait another 6 months for a new couch set and love seat to be made. I also learned that someone had cancelled part of my order without my knowledge. I have emailed the CEO @lalber twice and heard no response. I have spoke to the #westportpotterybarn store manager who tells me that someone documented that they spoke with me to help sort this. NO ONE actually called me. There is no accountability in this company. NO ONE is willing to actually help. Shame on you #potterybarn for abusing your customers and their trust when COVID has made life...

We noted with the delivery person, took pictures and spoke to a pottery barn rep via phone who indicated a new piece will be delivered on the upcoming Saturday with several other pieces we ordered but were not delivered as expected. We called today to confirm foe Saturday, and to discuss how other items were just dropped off at our door step without notice (it was scheduled to arrive on Saturday) and the white glove service we paid for was not provided. We received the refund for the nonexistent white glove service, but also found out that we were lied to about the replacement piece. There was no note in their system about a replacement, only about a repair. We did not pay for a defective piece, so why would we be LIED to and only given a repair. My daughter took her business to Bassett Furniture where she purchased a sofa and dining room table and will be going back for a bedroom set. They were very accommodating and treated her the way a customer should be treated. My son didn't know what transpired with his sister and went there today and asked for assistance and the same thing happened to him. Three people were helping a lady returning broken glasses instead of assisting him with a living room and bedroom set. He is on his way to Norwalk in his search.
