After waiting over 20 minutes to be waited on, I just walked out of this store. The gentleman at the counter was deep into a conversation with another woman customer about his work as a catechism and a Cantor, how confused the younger generation is, and several other topics. Walking back and forth in front of the counter, waiting next to it, and even clearing my throat numerous times didn't even get me a glance! I guess I should have broken up their conversation, but I wasn't in the mood for any confrontation. Too bad, I had several lovely items to purchase. I absolutely love going to this totally devoted to all things Catholic Store. Anyone who is Catholic needs to keep patronizing this business. House of Carmel is the ONLY all Catholic store left in Metro Denver. Its staff is comprised mainly of generations of one family devoted to providing Catholic items to our Catholic Community. I find all I need here to support our religious life, whether it be gifts, books, incense, statues, cards, veils, etc. I most appreciate the children’s materials that complement our homeschool curriculum.
