ALDI — Local services in Wheaton

I usually have very pleasant experiences with cashiers at Aldi but my last experience took me aback. As I was placing a container of the organic blueberries on the conveyor belt the top burst open and berries went everywhere. The young female cashier stared me down as I tried to apologize. She picked up her trash can, handed it to me and said "pick them up." Embarrassed and holding up the line that had formed behind me I got down on my hands and knees to pick up the berries that had rolled everywhere. The rude cashier didn't stop the queue and continued to check out my groceries without offering to help or calling for clean up. She didn't say a word to me after telling me to pick up the mess. I don't mind cleaning up after myself, it was more in the cold manner she handled the situation. She also didn't acknowledge why those flimsy plastic blueberry containers are even being sold. Thanks to her I'm going to the Glen Elynn location from now on. Sorry you hate your job lady, you might be better off not working in a customer facing position. Weeks later I'm still really frustrated with Aldi because of her, she's a poor representative of the brand and clearly not trained up to...

Some of my usual target things I specifically come to Aldi was not in stock...it is stuff they usually have too!! So I had to plot out my weeks lunchs with plan B. This is the closest Aldi to where I live and I do not shop too often. But was hoping to stock up on my things I came for. Bummer to that. Generally the employees are nice...there are a couple sour puss kinds I tried to interact with and they didn't seem to want to be bothered while putting out stock. I came here the last couple times and there is a GIANT CRATER/HOLE in the parking lot...I have a small car...this would cause major damage if someone drove into it!!! Why don't they fix this?? Employees I spoke with know about it...and yet no one fixes or at least fills it in!!!!!!!! I am dropping stars on my review because of this lack of parking lot maintenance!!!! Down to 3 stars now. UPDATE Parking lot is fixed. No more crater...thank goodness!! So back up to 5 stars!!! I love my Aldi's best compared to other Aldi stores I...

Hello! First of all, I want to say that the staff were extremely helpful, kind, and accommodating with my situation today. I needed to make two returns with two separate debit cards, as well as a purchase with an EBT card. The system did not take any of the cards, and would only perform purchases with a regular debit card. Even though these technological setbacks took place, the staff were very professional and remained more than willing to try multiple methods in trying to make these returns/this purchase work.

With that being said, please get your machines checked! I went to the Aldi in Carol Stream directly afterwards and had no issues with...
