The young gentleman who took our orders was nice and went out of his way later on to go back to the kitchen to grab a box for my leftovers. I ordered my old go to: the Pesto chicken cavatoppi and still loved it all these years later.
The interior: Years ago, friends and I always frequented a Noodles and Company cafe. We lived the food and it was warmly painted a pale yellowish color, nice pictures on the wall; very pleasant, cozy, and comfortable. The interior of this particular location is kind of cold and industrial. Maybe a sustainable initiative? I use a walker as an assisted device. I ordered my meal, filled my cup at the soda fountain, and rolled over to the table my mom was sitting at. The counter, self-serve soda fountain, and the tables and chairs in that area of the restaurant are so close together it was too small for the "rush" of people ordering, and waiting for take out meals. Using an assisted device or not, it was impossible for me to go refill my drink because the machine was literally blocked in. I'm sure people would have tried to let me through, but there was nowhere for them to go!
The Pesto chicken cavatoppi meal was delicious, even since my last visit to a Noodles and Company, 10...
Read moreI have been going to this Noodles and company for over 10 years. They have always been so good with giving gluten free dishes to me and ensuring that it’s safe for me to eat with my gluten allergy. I’m sad to report that this is no longer the case. The quality has gone down SO much. Last year, I came here and ordered a gluten free dish. I was in the middle of eating and found a wheat noodle in it. They apologized and remade my dish…. Only to find ANOTHER wheat noodle. I did end up going to a different location to see if they could not contaminate me, and they did too. I decided to not go to any Noodles location for a long time. I went today, after over a year of not dining at a Noodles, hoping for the best. Not only did they forget vegetable and protein additions in 3 of my family’s meals, but after getting almost to the bottom of my bowl, another wheat cavatappi noodle is sitting in the middle of my gluten free noodles. I will now be vomiting and in the bathroom for the next 48 hours until this passes through me. Thanks Noodles & Company in Wheaton. You have ruined my meal, my night, and my weekend. I am done giving chances to Noodles and company, and am no longer safe eating at these...
Read moreI am never ever one to leave reviews or complain about the food industry. I have worked in the food industry for years and understand how stressful it can be but this must be said. My husband, one year old, and I came to this location yesterday and I ordered the mac and cheese for my son and I to split. When it came it was completely cold so I asked the woman that was working if there was any way they could heat it up (I wasn’t going to ask for a new one) and she proceeded to ask us if she could feel it and I swear to God put her finger right in the center of the bowl. I honestly was in shock and my husband then said “Well now we can’t eat that” and she said they would make a new one which didnt have to happen if she didnt put her hands in my food?? I was honestly flabbergasted. She brought out a new one only a minute later and I honestly did not trust that they didn’t just heat it up and give us the same one with more cheese on top as it was still not warm enough to melt the cheese. I was...
