Danada Square West — Local services in Wheaton

Only 1 problem. I bought 3 bags of candy because I thought it was buy 2 get 1 free on the display but I didn't see that it was only the M&Ms. I have to take my glasses off wearing the mask because no matter what I try they always fog up. The sign was close to the floor & I didn't see the smaller print that said M&Ms. They had Hershey Kisses with them on the end cap. I don't know how to correct a mistake I made on a comment about Valli grocery store on North Ave & Bloomingdale Rd in Glendale Heights. I never remember the names of the strips; I just know the name of the store I go to in the strips. I was trying to make the comment about Caputo's, who advertised the bags of Halloween candy for $1.99. I was there on the 1st or 2nd day of the sale & there was none, not 1 bag, but they had the bags of the same candy that was for Christmas. They told me they didn't get any in & weren't gonna get any in because they had the same sale the week before. They weren't substituting any other same candy & they had no comment when I asked why they advertised it again if they weren't getting any?!?!!!! The comment came up under Valli grocery store. Sorry Valli. You definitely didn't have bags of Halloween candy advertised that week for $1.99, but I ended up going there right after Caputo's & the cheapest bag they had was not the favorite of trick or treaters. Danada Square West is an excellent location and layout of stores in one area! The multitude of stores that have different products is outstanding! You can drop your stuff off at the post office and FedEx! You can buy gift and party supplies at Party City and the Hallmark store! Or you can shop for clothes, home interior, and even groceries!! The only downside is the parking in this small to medium shopping strip!! For one thing they have Jewel as one of the first stores when you turn off from Naperville Road! You can only fit a few cars in at once before traffic is stopped on the road!! This is due to the door toJewel is there!! So all the traffic has stopped at the stop sign and or wait for people to go by coming in and out of Jewel! During peak hours they have someone there to stop traffic apart coming in and people going in and out! After you get over that hurdle oh, that main road has you drive past the front of every store unless you turn down and appropriate directional Lane to park!! Yes, they have one way streets! So even if you wanted to get out of there at that moment you might not be able to!! However, once you decided on where to park you can walk the whole strip! It makes for a great afternoon in good weather because after you're done all your shopping and errands you could also go get your nails done before you go to a restaurant to end your day with dinner and maybe a margarita or two at...

Danada Square West is going through renovations at the moment, so kind of a mess getting in and out of some places. I was actually here for a Two Boston's dog event in the outer parking lot. There was a pretty long line of dogs with their humans waiting to get in. These people paid an extra $15 for early entrance to the vendors. First thing I noticed was some vendor's were not set up on time, which caused the 11am entry time to be moved out. Nothing worse than paying money to something that doesn't start on time. Most of the dogs I saw there were well behaved, but as in all things, there are a few that don't know their manners. I also mentioned to a family that was there with a 8 week and 10 week old puppy that they should not be letting their puppies socialize with other dogs, due to the fact that they have not been fully vaccinated.
