3 year review: Not going here ever again. I got my nails done on February 8th, 2025. My left index nail bed was mangled due to nail tech negligence. Made me bleed. I had a appointment, waited 30 minutes before I was sat down, although I came on time. Previously got my nails done 2 weeks before, and the dip lifted on most of the nails on my right hand.
While the tech was buffing the powder polish off my nails with the drill, he wasn't looking and took a chunk of nail off. My nail bed started bleeding. Instead of letting me go wash the injured area, he put glue on top of it. Not to mention, didn't really let me look to see how bad it was. Insincere apologies were made stating that the dip was lifting and it caught on the drill, stating, "I never had this happen". I never have either! That finger had no nail polish lifting. I never had an injury like this happen, ever. 2 weeks is a normal amount of time between appointments. Then, he still wraps my nail in acetone. I stated it was hurting, and he still left it on.
The tech wanted to use dip polish on the now injured nail. I refused, and had to refuse 3 times before the tech left it alone. It can't be sanitary to do that. I also asked for my cuticles to not be cut, and tech proceeded to do so anyway. Even asked him to stop and he said, "when I see them I cut them".
I got injured by the tech during my service and was not provided adequate aid for my injury. When I kept mentioning I should wash it, he went and grabbed a powder from another station and threw it on there. Then brushed it right off.
I no longer feel this is a safe and sanitary nail salon. Employees are negligent and rush through the service to accommodate all the clients they book. Makes you think what other shortcuts they take with their equipment. There was another client waiting for the same nail tech during the last half of my appointment.
You to wait even with appointment, and the tech can get rough during the service. It's not the first time I had aggressive filing, but the 1st it injured me. I had to mention in the past that there is too much pressure with the drill.
Absolutely DO NOT recommend
Update: Been going here exclusively for almost a year. I have not had one bad experience. Everyone if friendly, creating a good atmosphere. All highly skilled. Highly recommend.
Original review: 3rd time here. I first saw Anne, and Alex now twice for dip manicures. Both did a great job. The dip won't lift from the nail bed or crack. The salon is very clean and well organized. Everyone I have interacted with is very friendly. This is a must go...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI wish I had the galās name who did my nails. She was very sweet, very thorough and helpful. They seem to go the extra step for sanitation. I liked the salon and the guy at the door is very friendly and chatty.
10/15/20 - On my way to a first date and hadnāt had my nails done since COVID started. I had about 35 minutes so wanted a quick clean āem up and paint them. It took a bit longer but Joe did an amazing job, very thorough, checking for my approval at every step. The manicure was beautiful but because I didnāt let it dry long enough, I screwed it up in the car. I am very taken with the family feel atmosphere there. The owner has a nice rapport with many of the customers. For a Thursday afternoon during COVID, there was a good crowd in there. They are very conscientious about washing hands and they have you fill out a form attesting to your exposures in the past 14 days. They have plexiglass partitions and everyone is wearing a mask. I felt very safe there.
2/18/21 Tammy was my āpainterā. Again, a very thorough, conscientious job. She even helped me decide about choosing a color which, for me, is more difficult than choosing a husband. I had boots on because we had yet another snow storm. As she was starting on my fingernails (I do my hands first so theyāre thoroughly dried when the pedicure is done), I realized I needed to take off my boots. She said, āāIāll take care of thatā. And, she did. I needed some fill-in on my big toe. I forget the ownerās name but he came over and like a master mason, made it look better than my real nails. Everything is clean and with COVID, they are very conscientious about washing hands. You fill out a form attesting to your exposures in the past 14 days. They have plexiglass partitions and everyone is wearing a mask. I felt...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreUnfortunately today I needed to upgrade my previous great review... After going to this nail salon for more than a year now on a regular basis and getting different types of manicures (no chip, dip, acrylics, regular manicure, etc.) and pedicure, referring friends and family to this place and etc. I would say that after my visit yesterday I wonāt come back to this place. I had an appointment and waited for 45 minutes until somebody would take care of me. This place was busy and I could tell how everyone rushed in there. It wasnāt relaxing or pleasant experience at all. The technician who did my nails asked me some questions a several times and while I was answering him he was interrupted by another technician and replying to her in the middle of our conversation without excusing himself. At least twice that happened and I stopped talking and he never even bothered asking me to finish what I was saying! I donāt want even to start on saying how the nails were done. As I said I know the procedures for the manicure and they were not followed. And the last thing that I regret I hadnāt mentioned in there at the salon - the technician took the scissors out of his pocket to fix some of my cuticles. He didnāt bring the scissors out of the sterilizing machine so who knows if he used this scissors previously on another client. And he made a cut on one of my fingers. And guess what?.. Today after one day of having no chip nails I already have a crack inside of the nail polish on one of my fingers and bubbles in all of the white tips of my French nails. I regret to say but I wonāt be returning to this nail salon again. If you would like to try this place out please go during the week (Mon - Wed), I hope you will get better...
