Let me preface this review with a little back story. I do not have a car, so transportation is a big issue in going anywhere here in Tennessee. I rely on Uber and family. I moved from CA in 2021 where I had spent the first 54 years of my life and knew the medical networks like the back of my hand, navigating them seamlessly myself and for my parents as well. I arrived in Tennessee knowing nothing about any doctor, hospital or Insurance. At my age it is frustrating and scary. I finally landed a job and insurance. My first year, I had repeated issues with Crossroads rescheduling me at other locations and not calling me until the day before. The 2nd year my employer offered a plan with HSA - I jumped on it. I had consistenly read posts on our community FB page talking about how amazing NP clinic was, and the fact they were open on Saturday (at that time) made it a no brainer. From my first visit, It was obvious why everyone just loved this place!!! The positive energy that flows through the clinic and everyone that works there is undeniable. I have NEVER felt rushed through an appointment, and have always felt they were fully invested in me during my appointments. But this last week they really elevated their level of care! I was at work and launched Uber to prepare to request P/U for my appointment. I don't work far at all (I have walked in the past, but it was going to rain) The fare came up at just under $6 - Perfect!! I finished typing an email and went to book and the fare went up to $27!! I kept checking and it never went below $20! I called the office and let them know what happened and that I probably would be late, but I am coming. The receptionist said - "I will just come pick you up" I was shocked, I had called figuring that they would probably make me reschedule like every other doctors office has done in the past. I was floored, I value kind and genuine people, and working in customer service - I really appreciate amazing customer service - and this was above and beyond! She picked me up within 10 minutes and also offered to drive me home after so I didn't have to pay for Uber. Part Southern Hospitality - but a huge serving of Compassionate Patient Care. I feel very blessed to have...
Read moreI was extremely disappointed with my experience receiving IV therapy. I had not been feeling well and went to the clinic to get immunity IV treatment before having to go out of state for a work training. I specifically told the girl that I had not had an appetite and was very dehydrated so finding a vein may be difficult. I offered to move chairs so that she could utilize either arm when looking for a vein as well. She assured me she could work with my left arm. After she inserted the needle I started to feel very faint and even threw up… so she removed the needle from my left arm. She then had me move chairs and inserted the needle into my right arm. I was able to handle the IV but I have now been dealing with a busted vein for a week. My entire right arm is in so much pain that I went to urgent care after returning from my work trip. I am unable to pick up anything more than 10 pounds, I can’t straighten my arm fully and it is tender to the touch. The physician at urgent care said unfortunately there isn’t much I can do beside ice and pain meds but to be on the look out for signs of compartment syndrome. All I wanted was to get a little relief from a stomach bug and now am struggling with an entirely new issue. I would not recommend receiving IV treatment here as the staff is not willing to listen and properly...
Read moreIf I could leave a zero I would. Both me and my boyfriend are setting a goal to lose weight and be healthier. We have tried Phentermine mixed with a keto diet in the past and did amazing. But life gets in the way and we fell off. Gained the weight back. All we wanted to do was get a start at weight loss again. Both of us came into this clinic feeling instantly judged. She told me my BMI was fine which was false. I am a medical assistant so I already knew I was overweight not just by what I thought. And then proceeds to ask me what my weight loss goal was. I am 144 and want to be 125. She legit looked at me with big eyes and told me I don’t need phentermine to do that. As if losing 20 pounds is so easy. I have two kids and a full time job. But you didn’t care to ask that. No one NEEDS meds to lose weight lol. I’m aware. But if I’m willing to spend money on myself to make sure I get to that goal then thats on me. Don’t tell me I don’t need it. Anyway they ended up giving it to us after going back and forth. Charged us 150 and then we still have to pay 20 a piece at the pharmacy for the med. go to Carson New Weigh weight loss in White House. So much nicer cheaper and judgement free zone. Wish they were open today and we would have bypassed all this. Good luck to every one on your weight...
