Helpful Hardware Ace of White House — Local services in White House

Time to review White House Ace Hardware! We are gonna title this post "Good Luck!" lol. We shall start by saying prices are what you expect from Ace, definitely higher than any other hardware store around, but they are convenient, and they know this so they can get away with it. Atmosphere, overall, pretty good, always tidy and clean, and parts are decently organized. Service, well the staff is always friendly and eager to assist, however the turn over here is pretty nuts, always seems to have someone new and they rarely know where things are. Not being sexist here, but the men seem to have a good grasp on parts and locations however the women are lacking but they make up for it in kindness. OK and now for the Title. "Good Luck" in finding what you need or more than one. I seem to continue coming here in hopes they have what I need, but they are frequently out of plumbing, electrical, and Sthil parts, which is frustrating. Overall, I think I gave this a...

Every single time I've come into this particular Ace the employees have been EXTREMELY helpful, polite and welcoming, but not "too much", they never "annoyingly hover"......unless you need them too! Also, if they don't have what you need they will try their best to get it for you......my son needed 3 galvanized buckets and they were out, so the employee who helped us did some calling around to some other Ace stores, and a manager who "travels" from store to store. Long story short, they got the buckets to this Ace in just a few days, and then called him when they arrived! Some items they carry: NOT A FULL LIST! (not even close) *Paint; cans & spray *Air filters *Screws, hinges, nails, etc *Garden "stuff"; fertilizer, bird seed *Tools *Seasonal products: i.e.- it's Fall, so they have mums & pumpkins. I always have such great a experience here. The customer service at a home town hardware store just can't be beat.bto contrast, I was at Walmart getting some other things and figured I'd grab a few bags of top soil while I was there. Bad bad idea. After waiting a rediculous amount of time for someone to check me out at the garden center, than an ungodly amount of time waiting for an employee to come load it in my car, I decided to just drive away, get a refund later, and go to ACE. Not sure why I didn't just think to go there first! As I pulled up a young man was walking out and asked if I needed help before I even got out of my car. I told him how many bags of top soil I needed and he literally loaded them while i paid. I'm not exaturating when I say I was in three maybe 3 minutes. And it wasn't like I was the only person in the store. Miss Coleen at the front desk is always so helpful too. A true gem here...
