Went there back on 7/22/2020 got double charged for a pair of shorts that came to $42.40 costing me a total of $84.80 due to the girl Jen saying the first transaction never went through that I needed to put my card in again. I got home and checked my bank as I thought something was off as the first time it said approved remove card. and was told I had to put my card back in, went home and yes I was double charged. I called them back up they said they looked and I was only charged one time and that one of those charges should drop off. well both charges cleared my bank. Furious I called them back and smoke with both female managers after speaking to them both they both same the same thing I was charged only once but yet my bank states there was 2 charges that cleared and they paid out both times for $42.40. I contacted corporate and just get an email today 7/25/2020 that I was only charged once therefore they will not refund my money. my bank is stating I will have to fill out a affidavit and that can take up to 100 days. here is proof on my bank and these are not pending charges but what was processed. 2 charges cleared $42.40 total of $84.80 this same store I also signed up for loyalty card at the time of a purchase back on march 1st at the time of purchasing an airsoft gun for my son for his birthday I paid for the gun and the warranty my son had lost the receipt the stock had broken on the gun and when i called the store to find out of proof of purchase they said they cant find the transaction they also cant find me as a loyalty customer. contacted corporate and they said they cant find me in their system but that they will look into it but yet been months and heard nothing back from them. so so much for paying for a warranty manager offered to let us exchange the gun there for another but yet they dont have one to exchange with it. both times this store has ripped me off. horrible customer service and...
Read moreWent into the store looking for a youth archery set for my 9 year old daughter. I didn't really know what I was looking for and wanted a better direction. I asked the service department in the hunting section what would be a good bow for her size and strength. The reply I got back was very offensive.
The man helping me didn't know how to help me at all. So he went over to an older employee working and asked him. The guy came back and said it wasn't suggested that someone my daughter's age should be shooting an actual bow and to purchase one of the toy bows with the suction arrows instead and pointed to the pink "girl" version of the toy. (Knowing my daughter is short for her age, I assumed they thought she was younger.) So I replied back I was about to get her archery lessons and wanted a good bow to fit her starting off. (I guess they didn't think I was taking this seriously.) After that the guy just said here is the youth section and that's where the service stopped.
As he went back to the service desk I could still hear him and the older employee talking. I over l heard comments about how I should just get my daughter a Barbie playhouse instead.
Needless to say this left a very bad impression. So much so confronting them wasn't even worth my time or effort. But I felt obliged to inform others of how both sexist and unprofessional the service and help was (at least in the hunting section).

Read moreI really don't get the four and five star ratings this store gets. I am not one to post negative reviews normally but sometimes it is very well warranted. My wife and I are the type if starting a new hobby we dive in head first and go all out as would have this visit. But Dicks poor inventory and customer service strike again. We wanted to buy two kayaks and all the items needed down to the water shoes. After finding the ones online we wanted it was as simple as going to store and purchasing we thought. Found kayaks no employees to help waited about ten minutes. Went up front asked for help told need to load a kayak be right there's. Waited another ten minutes and getting frustrated. Went back to front told he would be right there again. Just about ready to walk out he shows up and I proceeded to ask questions about to kayaks. Well first I asked were all the stuff that goes with them is and told they come the way they are. At that point showed him the features list and assesories and the next comment was must have been stolen. So I look at the other kayak and the bungee strap is broken. Told we could just tie it off.
