Dasomee — Local services in Whitpain Township

If you haven’t visited Dasomee yet, you truly are missing out. Everything they sell—packaged food, clothes, skincare, stationary supplies—are from Korea, and the quality is amazing.

I’m a college student, so the stationary supplies, especially the cute pens and pencil pouches, are something I always look forward to when coming here. Also, I’ve gotten two pairs of straight-legged fleeced pants, and I literally wear them all the time when I’m studying. They are as comfortable as sweatpants, but even cuter.

I really recommend coming here for gift giving! The wide range of things they sell here makes gift shopping easy. The prices are very reasonable, given the quality of these products.

Next, the food is seriously some of the best cafe food I have ever tasted. The tuna and ham sandwich are my favorite. The Dasomee special sauce in these sandwiches is beyond delicious. I cannot tell you how many times I’ve eaten them and each time I am just shook by how good it is. And they just recently came out with a Lavender matcha!!! To be honest, I usually get the one from Starbucks, but after trying this, I don’t think I can go back to that.

Oh, WOW! This place is a fascinating gem. We went to try the shaved ice, and ordered a strawberry Bingsoo Cup. It was a bit more like a drink by the end - a drink that tasted like the most delicious sweet milk leftover at the end of a bowl of cereal. (Maybe it was the mini-cornflakes giving that vibe.) Fruit and all ingredients were very fresh. On a whim, we ordered a Tuna Salad Sandwich. The lovely gentlemen running the shop modestly said it was very good, and he seemed genuinely happy that we would get to experience taking a bite of the whole sandwich. On my own, I would not have chosen to add such a wide range of ingredients onto a tuna salad sandwich. In fact, I was dubious when I saw it. But OMG! All together, no joke, it was a tuna salad sandwich symphony! It was sweet, a teensy bit spicy, tangy, fresh, crispy, soft - that sandwich was everything! The place is also a retail store. There are things for sale, from handmade crafts, blouses, frozen Korean foods, skin care products, stickers, keychains, and dozens of items in cute packaging that I absolutely couldn’t identify. I had the most lovely lunch date with my two boys at Dasomee today. We had a full meal with sandwiches, chips, fruit-ades and Korean shaved ice dessert. The sandwiches were flavorful, fresh and yummy; all made to order! We also tried the kiwi, mango, and peach ades which are fruit flavored sparkling drinks. These were refreshing and not too sweet. To finish off our meal, we got strawberry and red bean/original bingsoo which is the Korean shaved ice dessert. These were such delicious treats with good amount of toppings and made well.
