Placed a delivery order for a BBQ chicken pizza. I did place the order about 45 minutes before they closed but tipped generously due to the late order. Driver was friendly and grateful for the tip. The pizza was pulled right off his back seat, not in a vessel to keep it warm, just a box on the back seat. The pizza looked great upon opening the box, the presentation was awesome. However, one bite told a different story. It was like eating a luke warm, thick piece of paper with bbq sauce. The cheese, crust and chicken were beyond bland. Literally a tasteless pizza, outside of the BBQ sauce, and just bad all around. My colleagues and myself couldn't get through a full piece of it. At $42 (including tip) for a large specialty pizza, a really solid pie should be expected. The reviews of this spot are good and maybe the key is eating at the establishment. The pizza that was delivered to me, is what it is, but I will go elsewhere for pizza next...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreA bunch of friends from work had planned on ordering food today (7/26/19 - Powell St, Norristown) to celebrate "Happy Friday Day"! Another friend at work suggested we try Frank's Pizza in Blue Bell, as we usually order from establishments closer to the office. Man....All I'm sayin' is.......WOW!! My mouth & taste buds are SOOO happy we made the change!!! I personally did not care for the other establishments my friends would order from (too greasy), but when they said we were trying Frank's, I thought, hmmm.. yeah, I'll check them out. I am YERY PLEASED that I did. My stromboli w/ sausage & pineapple was absolutely delicious. Your dough & sauce is outstanding!! I will be recommending you to friends & local family. When we order next, I WILL BE REQUESTING WE ORDER FROM FRANK'S PIZZA!!!
Thanks for the delicious meal, Frank's Pizza!!...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI specifically come here for their specialty white vegetarian pizza. I accidentally discovered their pizza at a kidsā birthday my daughter was attending, and had to track down where it came from (the shop name isnāt on the box). A few text messages later, and the hosting parents shared their secretāFrankās.
This pizza brings back childhood memories of a long-shuttered pizza shop in Mt. Kisco, NY in the 80s, that had just the right combination of medium thick, yet crispy crust, along with an oil-free top. The vegetables taste fresh, and there are thankfully no olives, although Iām sure you can request them. Seriously, itās perfect. Wouldnāt change a thing, except maybe to make it a few dollars less expensive.
By the way, their tiramisu is pretty good too... after soaking in a half-shot of bourbon...
