They will rob you in an economy that’s already draining you. I had my daughter in November 2024. I had my account on freeze because I was pregnant and post partum. My daughter ended up in the hospital and my newborn at 4 weeks. Orange theory called me multiple times to get my card number expiration and ccv code because I had a new card, I explained that I had two very sick kids and at the time that was not my priority. The woman explained to me that if I do not update my card I wouldn’t be allowed in orange theory anymore. Which fine, if that’s the type of business you’re running, treating customers as price tags fine, I decided not to update my information because one,I was dealing with my children and two, why would I support a business that threatens me. Anyway, come to find out they have been charging me for months without my updated expiration and ccv code the payments still went through. Fine a mistake. I call they basically tell me, we will cancel your membership and waive the cancellations fee. This is over 600 dollars, almost 700, they charged me. Not acceptable, I didn’t authorize the charges to my card, I never updated my card information. As far as I’m concerned that’s stealing. The sad thing is I really enjoyed the workouts here and was about to re sign up. This is a company that has locations all over the nation and cannot remediate this situation, it shows you what’s their priorities are and it’s not the clients. Take your business somewhere they care about you, don’t view you as a dollar sign, don’t bully or pressure you into signing or cancelling, support you, especially a fitness business. I don’t have faith that this will be corrected but a fair warning to all to consistently check your bank accounts and transactions, especially for reoccurring...
Read moreI would advise against choosing this location for your Orange Theory Fitness experience. As someone well-acquainted with various gyms and spinning studios, I had high hopes for this facility, especially since my regular spin studio is closing soon. Although I had previously enjoyed my first class at Orange Theory several years ago, I never pursued a membership due to financial considerations at that time. I booked my first class at this location the night before the session, only to receive a call an hour prior informing me that my class would not be complimentary, as I had already utilized a free class at a different location. This is particularly frustrating, given that I have never visited this specific studio and it is in a different county. Furthermore, it has been over three years since my last visit to any Orange Theory establishment. It is important for studios to prioritize the experience of both new and returning visitors, regardless of their previous attendance at other locations. Unfortunately, the focus here seems solely on profitability. The situation escalated when I was informed that canceling the class would incur a cancellation fee, forcing me to either pay for the class I couldn't attend or forfeit the fee. In hindsight, I should have trusted my instincts and opted to cancel rather than being charged $28 for a class that I had to end up leaving mid session. I couldn't tolerate the BS any longer. The front desk staff was unhelpful, and the instructor spent a considerable amount of time merely directing the class without ensuring that everyone was on...
Read moreI've been doing all kinds of workouts for many years. NOTHING compares to the effectiveness of OTF. I've lost 22lbs in 7 months and I walked through the door on Day 1 thinking I was in great shape. I certainly didn't need to lose weight, but I feel better than I ever have for doing it. I'm 6'4" and just turned 33. I started around 210lbs and fairly muscular. I'm down to a lean and strong 188lbs. How did I get there? Well I have to praise the staff at the Blue Bell, PA location above all else. Every trainer is so passionate and absolutely phenomenal at motivating and getting the most out of each person. I find myself completely drained and feeling very accomplished after every class. The front desk staff is so friendly and welcoming that I feel right at home every time I walk through the door. It's such a nice feeling when everyone knows your name and uses it frequently. The workouts are perfectly designed to keep you on your toes. I like not knowing what I'm doing when I come in. It prevents a degree of dread with an impending workout. The music and lighting totally add to the energy and ambiance for an all-out experience. The equipment is top notch. I can't say enough good things about the...
