Target — Local services in Wichita

I would rate target as a store 5 star for all the amazing things they have there, but sadly I give the target on maple street 3 stars for the service. Most of the workers aren't very friendly which didn't bother me as much as it did today. I went to target today with my sister and my girlfriend. We were looking at clothes to try on and threw all the ones we wanted to try in the cart which my girlfriend was sitting in as well which has never been a problem in Target. A very rude employee(“security" technically but he was no real officer he had on a blue shirt with a pin that said security so the man obviously had no real authority)approached us with a very rude and disrespectful attitude. He was questioning everything we were doing. We told him we were simply going to go try on clothes. (Like you would do in a store like target) we had no bags we could smuggle clothes in or any sign of us stealing items or rude attitude and we were definitely not disturbing any other customers so we didn't understand the problem. We then decided to just go on with our business and try on the clothes. We then saw this employee go around and talk about my sister,my girlfriend, and I. This employee continued to watch us and go around and talk about us to all the other employees for no reason. He was obviously watching us. We were very respectful and put everything back like any decent person would do when looking for clothes. We even smiled at him and were very polite but the employee still gave us very dirty looks. We didn't even look sketchy. I was wearing a dog T-shirt and jeans , my girlfriend was wearing leggings with shorts with mermaids on them and a T-shirt and my sister was wearing shorts and a very cute appropriate tank top. This employee had no reason to stalk us teenagers while shopping peacefully. This sort of thing has never happened to me at any other target or even other store before! We then left peacefully with him watching us leave. I would highly recommend shopping at a different Target or shop at a store like Walmart if you want to...

I don’t leave reviews often, and if the person behind me in line sees this, they probably wouldn’t share the same experience that I did. The older gentleman that ring me up today. Thank you. I was probably in line for close to 10/15 minutes. I loved every second of it. He would bring up a few items and then stop to Xpress an exciting point of the story he was telling me. He told me it was their way of feeling the acceptance coming from them. Their loved ones spirit was definitely felt as they dipped their wedding bands into the creek bed and let the water run through them. That deserves to be in a Hallmark card. I could go on and on. That was the best experience in the checkout line, ever. I’m glad I could hear him out and be someone that would truly listen. I think he really needed that. Got to be there for a reason. I love Target! It's fashionable, yet affordable, all the things I love in a clothing store. I don't visit this Target often because it's on the west side of Wichita and I live on the east side. However, when I do go here, they have all I need. They have groceries and health and beauty aids, cards and gift wrap, and clothing for all my family, men's, women's, and children's. I love my boots that I've got from Target. So much so, that I am wearing holes into them (after 5+ years of use). The boots especially are a bargain! I wouldn't say that the grocery section at Target is a bargain, but I don't usually go there to shop for groceries, and when I do I know I'll pay a little more. The new kids line Cat and Jack is especially cute and affordable! I love to mix and match the fashionable tops and bottoms! My daughter got an adorable denim jacket from a family friend from the Cat and Jack line and I put her in it constantly, it's so cute! This store is well maintained, clean, and employees are helpful when you need help. I have no problem whatsoever shopping here when I'm on that side of town. Would recommend this store to...
