My experience was terrible . The lady that checked me out was rude and acted like i couldnt pay for items and kept saying i couldnt do this and that unless i bought credit card . And the tax is ridiculous for that store i had a total in $15 and they scanned me and said it was close to $30 for a final total.... how? I definitely will not be going back to T.J maxx or i will choose a different one when i travel. Ross is pretty bad about tax too i bought a $14 dress and the total was $27 when they scanned. Read moreI’m pretty disappointed in the lack of customer service. I arrived at 9:30, when the store opens, and apparently interrupted their staff meeting being held at the front. The gal that unlocked the door unlocked it and immediately walked away. Not one employee welcomed me in or even spoke to me until I got to the register when the first thing said was “do you have a tj maxx card?” Management is setting a tone of “customers are an inconvenience” at this location. I’d suggest at the next staff meeting to focus on encouraging staff to be welcoming to the people that shop there, but since the entire staff failed to acknowledge me and the other customer, you might have to bring in someone from the outside to teach...
Read moreI have never had such a fantastically awesome experience. There is a guy there named Steve. He was knowledgeable about everything. My hands were full and he even offered me a shopping cart. When I asked for any item at all he didn't just point and say over there he actually walked me to the area. Throughout the time that I was shopping he came back to check on me and make sure I was doing okay several times. That really meant a lot to me. I cannot compliment him or the store enough.
