Been here numerous times had problems certain times. I have gotten some questionable chicken before and obviously stale old pretzel sticks and queso that is slightly translucent with chunks that look like snot as if the queso was old, had sat, or they wipe the nozzel off that I can only assume they occasionally clean. (I usally only come here for the pretzels) Because of this I have started to have to ask for them fresh to get edible pretzel sticks. Today I went through the drive through asked for 2 orders of fresh pretzels to which I get angry yelled at that "they are always made fresh". I waited for the people in front of me for like 4-6 minutes. When I get to the window the Pretzels are just sitting under a warming light. I watched the young girls looked like a bunch of teens, sitting there chatting, specifically the window cashier was mindlessly wandering seeming lost for a few minutes, and one other girl appeared on their phone. I asked the cashier to remake them since they clearly had the pretzels sitting for who knows how long they clearly didn't, at least 8-10 minutes. The cashier responded and said she was going to remake them and to pull forward. Immediately after shutting the window she very obviously went over to bag the Pretzels sitting there to bring them out to me so I sat at the window to ensure they didn't do this. The moment they realized I wasn't moving and watching them closely one of the girls who were sitting there chit chatting all the time the cashier wandered came over to the window (I assume she is the manager). The young girl begins asking me what the problem is so I responded the the cashier was remaking the Pretzels and the young girl started to try and gaslight me and tell me they were made 4 minutes ago even though I had been sitting at the window longer than that at this point. I mentioned this and she got mad and started in about how the pretzels are frozen and are microwaved for a minute (I am aware of this before now) when the order is placed at the intercom. I asked about remaking them again rather than dealing with a obviously disgruntled employee who is trying to argue with me and she responds "no we aren't going to remake them when I just made these when you ordered I'm just issuing a refund and then you need to leave my drive through and don't come back again" I don't know why this young girl displayed this behavior and attitude but it sure wasn't...
Read moreOk so i ding fastfood window outfits that give you a bag of food and after you drive away and have your fingers greasy from sneaking fries... THEY DIDNT GIVE YOU ANY DAMN NAPKINS! Ok, the super nice gal at the window left me feeling great, and i did like her friendly tone and smile. It was great to see and hear. And oh look, there is a napkin on top 9f my fries! Turns out it was the ONLY napkin. And it was both the smallest and thinnest napkin anyone had ever given me and tried to claim it was a napkin. I had forgotten to tip and was ready to drive round to hand her a couple bills, .. but the line was long and then i discovered ... essentially no napkins again, and just drive away fuming. No napkins isnt the end of the world, its just really risen high on my list of things i want to lecture fast food people about. Because it happens so freaking often. If they have to add a 25 cent charge for them so be it, but if you are selling food with grease on it.. its ethically and business plan correct... to give your customers something to wipe their fingers and mouth with.
Climbs down offa soapbox.
My burger was good but would have benefitted from being seared. Its flavor was a bit like a not completely cooked soyburger. And this was a change from my visits to DQ a few years ago. When i thot they used some of the highest quality burger patties of any fast food place. It was good, but when my burgers good, i usually ask myself if i would eat another one. But not this time. In fact, i barely finished it. Onion rings were just plain unremarkable and wont be a splurge item again until their is more onion in my rings. Good onion rings just dont seem to be...
Read moreTerrible experience at this Dairy Queen. Ordered our food and dined in Saturday night. Once we ordered we went to sit down and all the tables were wet from being wiped down. Finally after letting them dry we sat down and waited 10-15 min for our food. The food comes out in bags and in the bags we get the wrong food. We go to the counter and have to prove it was the wrong food. The employee said we will get it remade. In the time it is remade they ask that we wear our mask. Well that's kinda hard when we still have other food to eat, fries and a shake. I realized when I walk back to the table I didn't get my drink so I proceeded back to the counter to get my drink and once again had to prove with a receipt I didn't get a drink. Finally got my drink and we waited while new sandwiches were being made. 20 more minutes went by and still no sandwich so we went to the counter and everyone blamed it on one another as to why we didn't have our food. We just asked for a refund on the food we didn't receive and decided to leave. The clerk didn't know how to do a refund. Needless to say there was no organization and guidance Saturday night. Complete train wrek from the time we ordered to the time we left. Where is the customer...
