I am updating to 4 stars because of the response only. I returned a call to Paul who took care of everything, apologized, and had much grace and understanding for the situation. I very much appreciate a company who will make things right after a mistake, so this changes my impression very much. Thank you Paul! Just had the worst experience ever with this company. I called twice to verify the parts were in before driving from Hutchinson. Mariah told me they would be at will-call. When my wife arrived, they did not have one of the parts even though they "had seven in stock". The person at the counter was extremely rude and unhelpful, and sent us out not even offering to cover our gas. Barely could muster an apology and took 0 responsibility for their problem.

Don't EVER buy from this company. Such a scam. Don't care 1 bit about individual paying customers. Pathetic excuse...

I went in there with little information and April was able to guide me to what we thought I needed. April also shared with me that if the part I was going to try didn’t work, that the only other part that might work has been discontinued. Then April told me that they have new appliances for sale at a budget conscious price. Smart of April because if the part I bought didn’t work, I would have returned it, then bought a new range. Since I didn’t know they sold appliances, had she not mentioned it, I would have gone elsewhere to buy. The part worked so I didn’t need to buy a new range, but if I did, I would have bought it from April. Washer Specialties is a hidden gem in Wichita, and I hope more people buy there. I know I will point anyone I meet in their direction. Thanks April, and great job capturing...

Only one experience and nothing good to say. Went in Saturday to buy a transformer got one that was supposed to work but different wiring. Guy handed my a part with a completely destroyed box said wire it per the schematic on the unit and took my $38 dollars.

Went home googled the part - $16 - SAME Brand. Still wasn't sure about the wiring differences - went back Monday for some help. Got someone who "has worked here for ten years" he ended up asking customers at the counter for help.

I returned the part which is the one good thing they did, drove around the corner to Johnstone's and bought the same thing (different brand) for $14 and change and got a sound explanation on the install difference.
