Bashas' — Local services in Wickenburg

I loved this store, family owned, workers here as a rule are very nice and helpful, store very clean. I've patronized several throughtout valley BUT today was not good at this one and am so disappointed and upset I will take not come back. They have a very whiney, grumpy older checker generally working main registers up front and I heard her insist they disarm the auto door opener because it made noise and she didn't like it. This store is frequented by many elderly that have trouble with or can't open those heavy doors manually. I am one and I am due to have surgery soon, so it was terrible to try to open door and get cart through it! Did i get offered assistance? NO! What was worse was when i was struggling with it, she was actually laughing at her register like it was a joke! I've heard her bad attitude before but this took the cake. I will...

Extremely disappointing experience - consistently. This store has a long-standing pattern of poor customer service and an unwelcoming atmosphere. The staff, including management, often come across as unfriendly and dismissive, which makes shopping here uncomfortable and upsetting - especially for members of the community who deserve respect and kindness like anyone else. A grocery store should be a place where everyone feels safe and treated with decency, and unfortunately, that’s not the case here. I truly hope the leadership takes a hard look at the environment they’ve created. Life is too short to treat people poorly. People make an effort to go out of their way to shop here because it’s a community store - I highly suggest you make the trip to Safeway; it’s far better....

There's a medium sized lot here with off-street parking, or there's also parallel parking on the side street. The store itself looks smaller on the outside, but it surprisingly had food that I haven't seen at other Bashas' locations such as Mexican spices (including tamarindo) and even a nice selection of natural snacks like Scottish oatmeal. The restrooms though were a bit small with only one stall each and that was about the only downside. Checkout was quick and easy (but just note that they may not have all the checkout lanes open).
