Cobblestone Hotel & Suites - Wickenburg — Hotel in Wickenburg

My grandson and I stayed in Wickenburg due to him having double header baseball games on a Saturday. Although I live in Phoenix, I wanted to be in Wickenburg Friday night so we didn't have to deal with getting up early and northbound traffic to Flagstaff. |It was nighttime driving to the hotel. When we rounded the corner on Wickenburg Way, the hotel sparkled with all of its lights as it stood out and towered the area. It looked like a modern day palace. We were in awe. |Booking online was a cinch, checking in was easier. The room was very nice. We loved our beds. They were super comfy. Each bed had four pillows. Two were soft and 2 were firm. It was nice to have a choice of comfort with pillows. The hallways were pristine. There is an endless coffee bar downstairs by the check in counter. |The morning breakfast options were plentiful and delicious. If the options don't meet your liking, there are several fast food restaurants within walking distance. McDonald's, Starbucks, and Burger King. |My husband and I plan to go back for a long weekend stay so that we can explore Wickenburg more. Let me start by saying we booked this hotel with a room block for a ton of out of state family for our wedding. I got to the hotel to check in and they couldn’t find my reservation. Eventually the front desk employee realized it was because they gave our room to someone else thinking it was me….!? We reserved the more expensive suite since it was for our wedding night. I had to sit at the front desk while they tried to figure out how it happened instead of just getting me into a different room. When I finally got into the room (because the people behind me started complaining for me), it wasn’t fully cleaned. It had a large oxidizer/room deodorizer in the middle of the room and cleaning spray bottles. With the amount of business we brought to Cobblestone, I was highly disappointed with the customer service. We arrived Friday night and the lady that checked us in was very knowledgeable and extremely professional, the facility was very clean and quiet. Our room was new and very clean, it was nice. Second night our keys to our room had been deactivated so we had to go back to the front desk to reactivate them although we were set to stay till Sunday. The young lady was not the most pleasant of personalities. Sunday morning comes and we over slept so we tried calling the front desk several times with no answer so so we had to go down to ask for a little later check out. The front desk lady out right said “no” you must check out at 11am. Wasn’t kind or flexible with even 30mins extra and stated all that needed to be arranged at check in.
