Dollar General — Local services in Wilkins Township

The manager is rude to me every time he sees me in the store. He seen me in the store this evening and followed me around while I was shopping with my daughter. Then he walked past the clearance Isle where I was shopping and very rudly said that he is closed and that I should have know that when the music went off. After checking the time (8:15 pm) I asked, at 8:30...he said No, I'm closed now. A little shaken up by his tone and demor I stopped shopping and went to checkout, another shower was their so I stopped so the other shopper could go first. The manager aggressively told me to "come on". He embarrassed me so much, and infront of my lovely 9 year old daughter who was very confused at why this man was treating her mother in such a manner.

As I was checking out other customers came in and he told each one that he is closing soon. I said to him, you said that your closed, why are they able to shop and I'm not. He told me to call corporate.....he held the door open for my daughter and I to leave. I have spent several thousand dollars at Dollar General over the years and I'm also a SHARE HOLDER. This store is closest to my home I have been patronizing this establishment regularly for over 6 years. It's sad that I have to inconvenience myself by going to Family Dollar. I'm not sure that I can continue to hold my savings in this company's stock any longer since I don't believe in the service provided to the public. Hello. I shop at this Dollar General and would like to say a couple of things about it. This store is dirty and unkempt. That is my first comment. My second comment may sound petty but hear me out. There hasn't been music in this store for a very long time. Although this may sound like a minor complaint, it makes me not want to shop in there. I do because it is the closest store to my house. Without music playing I can hear if someone coughs, if they yell at their kids, if they talk on their phones. I can hear everything and anything unpleasant or not. It's uncomfortable and the vibe shopping in there is somber and weird. Other stores have music playing. It makes for a much more pleasant shopping experience. Thank you for listening. Worst experience at a Dollar General ever!! (And I’ve had some unpleasant ones in the past) Went for an advertised item and as often the case at this store, it was not available. But in addition to that time waster was the condition of the store itself. Deplorable comes to mind! I took pictures but I see there’s no where to upload on this site. I couldn’t get my cart down two of the aisles because they were filled with unopened boxes stacked six foot high and down the whole aisle section. It was also difficult trying to leave the store because there was one cashier working and there had to be close to twenty people trying to checkout and they were inline in both directions towards the cashier. If the stores can’t properly staff and stock the store, it should close its doors!!!!...
