Good farmers and food vendors. Sandhill Berries has been one of my favorites for many years from Mt. Pleasant. They have a bakery and a winery also. Check their website and call and order a few days in advance to be sure you get what you want because they sell out of a lot of berry pies of all kinds and other pies especially early at the farmers market. They sell their berries and apples. They grow all their own fruit in a "sustainable" way for the environment and for us. They have around 200 varieties of apples they grow on their own orchard. Read moreI went to this market every week for 20 years but quit going a couple of years ago. The new location is extremely crowded, with long lines. It is also harder to park which is surprising since there actually is more parking spaces available. The crowds are great for the vendors, but for people like me who can't stand in long lines due to physical restraints, it just doesn't work. Plus multiple times when I eventually made it to the front, what I waited for is sold out. It also seems like there is less local produces and other food stuffs and more prepared foods.
