The Pike bar and Grill — Restaurant in Wilkins Township

Decent little neighborhood watering hole. If you don't know it’s there, you will likely miss it. Beer selection is okay.. The entrance is not handicap assessable. I'm an IPA gal. Bob’s establishment is clean and comfortable. The bartender Kate was on point. Not one patron had to wait for a cold beer. The Jukebox is filled with every artist you can possibly think of. I played darts, which can use some upkeep but it's close to the bathroom which is convenient and clean. Looking forward to going back to Bob’s to try the food.

I came back on Valentine’s day expecting the same customer service I received from my visit mentioned above. Unfortunately the bartender (which wasn’t Kate) was extremely condescending with how she spoke to me. Disrespectful with her views on political issues, social status, taxes on property and so forth. -She’s expressed proudly how she’s a Trump supporter and believes in the , let’s make America great again... As a woman who proudly served in our military and has traveled the world with experience in foreign relations as an ambassador for our great country-it was important for me to add this information in my rating. I don’t believe in treating anyone with opposite views of my own regardless if I agree with them or not differently. To selfishly believe that it’s okay to hold yourself in a higher social class/ethnicity with the belief that anyone who doesn’t share the same belief system as you aren’t worthy of what is our very own birthright as an American is the most uneducated, embarrassing, unethical conversation I had to take part in with a woman who wished she had got to know me before making judgement with what she had...

Went on a Friday during Lent for a fish sandwich. Place used to be Bob's Lounge that I went to years ago. Now under new ownership the last 2 years. New owners have made such a difference with the place. Non smoking inside. The place is noticeably friendly as soon as you step inside... from both staff and patrons. Great vibe. Had the fish sandwich, which as a Brit from the land of Fish 'n' chips and a self appointed "Cod Snob", I couldn't fault. It was fantastic!. Nice big fillet of crispy battered cod on a large elongated hoagie styled bun (fish still sticks out on either side). Comes with very good hand cut fries. But as much as I like the fish sandwich, which in itself was very, very good, I was blown away by the 3 accompanying hush puppies, they were deep friend heaven. Also What's nice is the fish sandwich/meal is a regular on the menu every Friday of the year... not just for Lent. Definitely will be going back for more fish sammie's but also to try the other menu items and special food features nights (Taco's, smash burgers and a variety of yummy sounding egg rolls to name a few.) Tricia our server was great, but so were the owners stopping by our table a few times, to see if we needed anything else, even though they were quite busy. They have an outdoor deck during warmer weather with live acts. (PS they do take out.)Thanks for the warm welcome...

The Pike is exactly what you want out of a neighborhood bar and grill!! The beer is crisp and there are always specials going on. The food is surprisingly good and affordable! Best burger around! The French onion soup is impeccable and all of the food I've tried is the best bar food ive had in Forest Hills! All around, the Pike is a great place to stop and grab some beers with friends.

Theres also a patio out back that is dog friendly! They have a few items on the menu for dogs as well.
