Premiere Kitchen & Bath — Local services in Forest Hills

We have enlisted Jason and his crew(s) from Premier Kitchen and Baths for three jobs at our home. The total remodel of our master bath, our kitchen and our basement bathroom. The first job was the master bath which was a total gut job and we were so impressed with Jason's leadership, consistent onsite attention and his kind, respectful and CLEAN workers that we told everyone we knew about the company and left their sign up on our yard for at least a month after the job was completed. Two years later when we decided to completely remodel our kitchen and our basement bathroom, we didn't even look for another company. We went straight to Premier Kitchen & Bath, asked for Jason and his crew and we could not be happier with the results. They worked with us to get just the right design down on paper with easy to understand photos and various views of what it would look like. They gave us a clear and detailed estimate and they started and ended on time. They are efficient, fairly priced, stay on the job until it's done (which was important to us), cleaned up every day before they left, and finished the jobs within the timeframe they gave us. I would not hesitate to use them for any job, small, medium or large. They can easily work within your budget, make suggestions and help with the design. Premiere's website said they don't just do kitchens and baths so I thought, okay, let's see if that is true! My basement remodel project involved a replacing a clawfoot tub with a 42" shower stall and replacing a large vanity with a pedestal sink but leaving the existing cabinets. I also needed to create a space for foster cats and kittens which meant I had some odd requirements:

A wall needed to be built where the ceiling height was less than standard. The wall needed to be mostly glass to let light in and provide visual access. I wanted at least one window to actually open for ventilation. The door needed to open wide sometimes to move pens in and out but open just barely other times to keep lively kittens from making a break for it. I needed a floor that could be mopped.

Greg and Ken helped me think through different ideas to come up with the best solutions.

Electricians and Plumbers came in to do work when necessary and the space was neat and tidy each day. They said it would take 3 weeks and it took exactly 3 weeks.

I had a vision for the final look I wanted so I planned to do my own painting. Ken primed the new walls so they were ready for me to finish.

The price was reasonable -- about what I expected when I was ballparking it during my initial planning.

I now have a cute little enclosed space with custom-sized glass French doors and two windows (one functional!) with an attached bath that will serve the kittens' needs now and someday could also be a home office, a craft room, or even...

PK&B remodeled our master bath last summer 2023. This involved a total gut of the existing bathroom as well as tearing down some walls and converting the existing bathtub/shower area into a new laundry area that now opened up to an existing hallway. In addition, they enlarged the entrance to the bathroom to make it handicapped accessible and created a large walk in shower at the site of an existing whirlpool tub. We absolutely love our new bathroom and laundry area. Josh oversaw our project and was excellent in designing the new bathroom based on our ideas and needs. He was also excellent in helping us select colors and styles of cabinets, tile, flooring and bathroom fixtures. Communication and coordination with the contractors, plumbers and electricians went smoothly and all were very responsive to any phone calls we had with questions. In addition to Josh, I want to comment on the excellent work done by the two contractors, Jose who was the lead on the work and Alberto who assisted Jose. Both did wonderful work with attention to detail, especially with the tile and floor installation. As with any project, sometimes ideas change during the project and Josh and Jose was always patient and kind with my ideas and flexible with them. The project was done on time and with no unexpected costs. We love their work and are now in the process of using PK&B for our kitchen remodel.
